Operation: "Stop being a fatty" moves in to week two...
The whole watching what i eat whilst incorporating regular exercise is looking to ne paying off.
My weeks involved a calorie controlled diet, and i won't lie, its suprising how little calories you need to eat to drop weight. In fact im finding it a struggle to eat, or not eat more to the point. So im having to over compensate by running more often than i probably should this early on in my fitness drive.

Im under no illusion that this is a quick fix. I fully understand the time and efforthisnis going to require, but im in a good place with it at the moment and am happy to see tiny changes weekly/monthly till i finally reach my goal weiggt and fitness level.

Technically, walking back and forth the pub is classed as exercise....
Those are good runs. Running every day is not easy, but it's bound to do you good. I hope it can be enjoyable too. Is there a local parkrun?

As a father to two nightmare children, the only tomeni have to get a run in is during my lunch break in work, so park runs are out the question.
There not bad times for a 40+, 17st+, but theres definitely room for improvement
Definitely not bad. Most people can't run 3 miles in under 30 mins. Hope the kids don't stress you out too much. Mine are grown up and only one at home who takes care of himself.

Be careful not to injure yourself... overuse injuries can be particularly tricky to recover from. In terms of the diet, veggies tend to be pretty low in calories so you can always eat a ton of veggies and still lose weight.
I may have overdone it, while my motivation is still high. Im hoping to taper of amounts, but increase distances.
Im heavily substituting my usual healthy diet eith veggies. Im living off lettuce, cucumber, chicken breasts etc....
On to week 3. Lets see how i get on this week.
