For the most part I ate healthy, paleo style meals

I have always heard such GOOD things about this diet. One day we may try it, once we get the high cholesterol issue under control. The Dr strictly recommended the Mediterranean diet for my husband.

My goal is to fast long enough to reset my relationship with food.

I commend you for this!

My cholesterol dropped to normal shortly after I started incorporating green smoothies into my diet. I started growing microgreens for that purpose. My favorite is to use one banana, 1.5 oz of sunflower shoots, 1 TBSP of chia seeds, 2 TBSP of almond butter, and just enough almond milk to keep things nice and smooth and not too watery.

I also started taking the microgreens to market. We sold just over $11,000 worth last year. Needless to say we’ll be expanding our microgreen production this year.

Sunflower shoots? Hmmm, never knew those could be used.
I have all the other ingredients and this sounds like a nice mid-morning pick-me-up smoothie for him

Kale or spinach works well. I prefer the sunflower shoots because they are a complete protein.
