I was quite excited to learn this week that #OCD will be curating the Feathered Friends channel looking for quality posts that are posted directly into the community.
BIG thanks to OCD for supporting communities and helping them grow in the way they were intended.

A blue Jay visitor-
I think it is common to see the little brown birds and categorize them all together as sparrows without taking a closer look.
This little white throated sparrow with his cute little yellow eyebrows is a good reason to look closer!
I spotted a bird this week that I had never seen before. This Blue-grey Gnatcatcher flitted about for a few minutes giving me only a brief opportunity to snap a couple not good photos before it disappeared back into the tree tops on it's hunt for more insects to eat.
This guy is little. Just a bit bigger than a hummingbird but smaller than a wren. I sure do wish it would have hung around longer for decent photos, but it was still such a thrill to see it. They are pretty rare in my part of the world.
This Wood duck stopped by the spring this week and was swimming down by the old dam. This shot was taken through the window. If I go outside it often scares the ducks away.
A couple of through the window mallard photos-
A cardinal and a house finch sharing a branch in the rain.
The migratory birds are returning and will give me plenty of opportunities for more bird photos this week!
Let's all show #OCD that our posts in the #featheredfriends community are worthy of their curation efforts!

So totally Awesome...!!
@melinda010100 Thank You #OCD 😊😚 !
I am quite hopeful that this will give communities the boost they need to work the way they were intended to.
🤗💕🤗
I'm am steadfast and hopeful with you too..

You have done so much work in both the #featheredfriends and the #Shadowhunters communities right from the start and I know that you would like to see them be successful, too!
Yohoo, great news! I have to find birds for this week too 😉🐦🐧🕊🦅🦩🦚🦜
It is good news for all the communities that have a specific interest base! ❤️ Looking forward to your birds!
great!
Thanks! 😊
All this pictures of birds are so beautiful😍
Thanks so much! They certainly add so much needed activity around here!
That is good and I know that they will brighten your day. Well who wouldn't be glad to see such beautiful birds🐦
Cool!
Look what I got, don't know the species, though.
Restless Sunbird
Lovely shots! I really miss seeing Bluejays and Cardinals... we just don't seem to have those in my area.
You are much too far west for either of those, but I'll share mine with you!
You're very kind :-)

Love the bluejay! Damn, how I miss going out with my camera and binoculars... a lot of birdwatch catching-up to do!!
The things we took for granted! Who knew that it could all change so quickly? I am so lucky to have so many birds come to visit me. All the expense of all the birdseed I have bought over the years is paying off right now!
Ahahahah we reap what we sow! I'm glad you are able to see them on a regular basis!
So true... that's what we have to make the most of thing whenever we can!
Nice shots.
I think that the Hive bees are having a little problem with the Communities feature. It seems that 95% of the people are posting under OCD and GEMS and pretty much ignoring all the others... 🤔
I think it is a problem too and I'm happy OCD is stepping up and making changes. I had such hope that communities would be a great way to see the content that interests each of us and it got kind of wrecked.
Yeah, I can see how sidetracked it got. I'm on a Street Art Community... and apparently, there are only two of us there, even though there are many people posting about Street Art. 🙄
Of course there should be a Street Art Communuty. Maybe someday I will be able to leave my house in the woods and take some new Street Art photos, but until then it sounds like a Community I would love to follow!
In my community we see pigeons and swallows, but there are not many other species.Beautiful birds, @melinda010100. You have very beautiful objectives to photograph. I loved this post and I will wait for your next posts.
Thanks! Birds do require the proper habitat and food supply. I am lucky that they find the things they like here in the woods!
That´s good.
Tomorrow i´ll walk to the beach, may be I´ll find some featheres friends,
but in any case I do some exercise.
There are an schedule to be in the street.
Have a nice day, dear friend
How nice that you have a beach within walking distance. That must make these insane days easier to cope with. I hope you see some birds while you are out walking.
Me too. I 'll tell you. I didn´t go out home since March 16
since last Wednesday. It was so heavy.
Well every place has its beautiful things
Have a nice new day
♥♥♥
March 16 was the last time anyone came into my house. I'm lucky that I can outdoors into my garden whenever I want. What beach do you go to?
You actually got a shot of the blue gray gnatcatcher. They are so tiny and fast flitting about. They've been pretty active the past couple days around here and the leaves are starting to hide them...
It is the first one I had ever seen and I was so excited that it didn't even matter to me that the photos were crap! Thanks for being excited for me! ❤️
Howdy Melinda! Great shots here, what a fine selection and go OCD! Tremendous.
They are just getting things set up. It will be fun to see if it works as planned!
Okay, well I bet it goes great!
So far so good! How are you doing with book sales?
I'm just getting ready to start buying, Amazon put new policies in place with their verification methods and getting set up to be a seller so it's taken longer than I wanted but I finally got everything set up.
The biggest problem people have with them is the verification process so it wasn't just me. lol.
Glad you are getting things in place and I hope it works out for you!
