Today I decorated another Christmas tree and now I'm looking for a hot spot to put it. I love buying these little liquor bottles and was so happy that I could get fifteen on the tree. I bought twenty, so I drank five! 😁 Actually I made it for Debbie's white elephant Christmas gift exchange tomorrow. I've always found that liquor is the best gift and usually gets stolen the maximum amount of times. For those of you that have never heard of a white elephant gift exchange, I will explain how it's done. Say you have ten people bring a wrapped gift with no names on them. First you put ten numbered pieces of paper and all ten people who brought a gift, draws a number. The person with number one picks one of the ten gifts under the tree, opens it , and shows everyone the gift. Now, the person with the number two can steal number one's gift or pick a gift from under the tree. If they take number one's gift, number one get to pick another gift from under the tree and open it. A gift can be stolen only two times, then it's frozen and can't be stolen anymore. Now it's number three's turn. They can steal the 1st or 2nd gift, or open a new gift under the tree. Once the number ten person has their gift, the first person who opened the first gift can steal any unfrozen gift or keep the gift they had. Then everybody goes home with their gift. Remember to keep track of how many times a gift is stolen. Geat post. Thanks for sharing. I know about white elephant gifts. Back in the early 90s, my job held a white elephant gift Christmas party. I didn't know what it was and what I was supposed to do. After finding out, I purchased a CD by Air Supply thinking it was true to the occasion.
To my surprise, that CD was the most bidded gift that night. Who would have thought. So glad though it never returned to me. But the most hilarious gift that night was a pregnancy test that ended up being the most feared gift there. No one wanted to touch it...no matter how much they sipped on the cocktails!

Hahaha try that white elephant trick over here with that tree Bruni and you will have a riot on your hands. Number 1 will fight with number 3, number 6 will jump in, as number 5, his best friend's cousin, is number 2 and number 9 will pull out a gun because number 3 is his girlfriend's brother. Number 8 and number 10 will in the meantime sit and drink all of the bottles and, bump over a candle and set the Christmas cake alight, as the cake mix was soaked in alcohol.

You want a new twist on the white elephant gift exchange? Instruct everyone to bring alcohol as the gift. When the first person opens his or her gift, they have to take a drink. When the second person gets his/her gift, they and the first person have to take a drink. Every time someone gets a gift, they and everyone in front of them have to take a drink. That will be some party!

What fun! I love games like that. We do one each year in book club where we exchange ornaments. We pass around a plate with two dice, and if you roll doubles you get to pick a wrapped ornament from under the tree. After everyone has one, then we go around again, and if you roll doubles you can swap with someone else in the attempt to end up with the one you want!
That's sounds like it could take a long time if there's alotta people participating @jayna 👍👍
