Coffee scrubs are GREAT since the caffeine acts as a vasoconstrictor to help detox cells in the subdermis. It does work but it is only temporary, so doing it regularly matters. There is actually almost no caffeine left in the used coffee, so you get a much better result if you use it freshly ground coffee that is NOT second hand.
You DO have beautiful skin and I suspect the honey is 99% responsible so far - it's an ancient beauty treatment too, in its own right.
Hi there! It's an honor to have you here. I purposely use the spent coffee instead of the fresh ones in order to limit the acid content that could harm sensitive skin, though I also use it when am not drinking coffee. The Study says that the pH content of coffee ranges 1-5, making it as acidic. The coffee as an antioxidant is already a plus factor and honey, of course, plays a very important role in this preparation. The spent coffee could be rough for the skin without a combination which I never do. I wish I can have one of those pure honey extracts in Malaysia. They're awesome!
Thank you for dropping by. I hope we can share more beauty tips here.
