My DIY Honey and Used Brewed Coffee Powder as Natural Medicinal and Antioxidants

First of all, I admit that I am an avid coffee drinker, not just any kind of coffee but fresh native brewed coffee. Coffee serves as booster to many people. It refreshes your mind, your body energized, it makes your day. It is said that coffee is also an anti-oxidant. Well and good. I guess I felt it too.

Because of this, I have lots of coffee left overs hence I just let it drain from the pouch (I prefer the primitive pouch than the coffee maker) and let it dry. You know why? It’s because I keep it in a jar for future use. Actually, I have been doing this since I learned the ways on how to make yourself fit and “beautiful” without those layers of makeovers. This is only one of the ways we used to make with my friends after a hard day’s work.

A blend of coffee and honey gives a youthful look on your skin, giving your skin a more radiant look.

The ground coffee will help rejuvenate your skin. It will remove the dead skin on the top layer. The caffeine will likewise help smoothen the surface of your skin.

Honey is best as antibacterial as well as a moisturizer for your skin. In short, a combination of both would be great for a lasting and youthful look on your skin.

Here's how to prepare it:

Place the ground coffee in a small bowl, gradually pouring the honey

Mix and blend it slowly, forming a cake.

Here, I used a plastic gloves to prevent the sticky mixture from getting messed.

I applied it around my face and neck, avoiding the eyes. Rub it gradually in circular motion and let it stay for at least 15 minutes. Wash and removed the granules with warm water and rinse with cold water afterwards.

This is how refreshed you will feel after the procedure. Do not rub your face with your face towel. Just pat it gently. Guys, I would say that doing this process at least twice a week will indeed give a positive result. See, I am already 63 years old as of writing and am glad to let you know that I still don't have wrinkles, right? There may be some dark spots due to childbirth, but it didn't spread like others do. My skin maintained its fine texture because I never had pimples during my younger days. Using the natural organic beauty enhancers indeed brings out the best in us.

I hope that my personal experience and demo gave you an inspiration.

My thanks to the Natural Medicine Community and to those behind this wonderful community.

Keep safe everyone!

Till then,

It's a little sacrifice to reward ourselves after a hard Day's work.

Coffee scrubs are GREAT since the caffeine acts as a vasoconstrictor to help detox cells in the subdermis. It does work but it is only temporary, so doing it regularly matters. There is actually almost no caffeine left in the used coffee, so you get a much better result if you use it freshly ground coffee that is NOT second hand.

You DO have beautiful skin and I suspect the honey is 99% responsible so far - it's an ancient beauty treatment too, in its own right.

Hi there! It's an honor to have you here. I purposely use the spent coffee instead of the fresh ones in order to limit the acid content that could harm sensitive skin, though I also use it when am not drinking coffee. The Study says that the pH content of coffee ranges 1-5, making it as acidic. The coffee as an antioxidant is already a plus factor and honey, of course, plays a very important role in this preparation. The spent coffee could be rough for the skin without a combination which I never do. I wish I can have one of those pure honey extracts in Malaysia. They're awesome!

Thank you for dropping by. I hope we can share more beauty tips here.
