자고 일어났더니 눈이 내렸네요.
제가 있는 대전은 체감온도 -2.5도이고 꽃샘 추위에 내일까지 이어진다고 합니다.
전국 곳곳에 돌풍과 벼락을 동반해서 눈이나 비가 오고 있다.
전국적으로 바람도 강하게 불고 크게 추워졌네요.
출근길에 도로 살얼음에 조심해야겠네요.
3월이라 이제 봄이 오겠구나 생각했는데 꽃샘추위가 다시 겨울 외투를 입게 하네요.
꽃샘추위는 초봄에 날씨가 풀린 뒤 다시 찾아오는 일시적인 추위를 가리키는 고유어이다.
꽃이 피는 것을 시햄하는 듯이 춥다고 해서 이름이 붙었다.

Since it's March, I thought spring was finally coming, but this cold snap has me wearing my winter coat again. "Kkotsaemchuwi" (꽃샘추위) is a native Korean term referring to a temporary cold spell that returns after the weather has warmed up in early spring. The name comes from the idea that the cold seems to test the blooming flowers.
