Band of Brothers was surprisingly good. I don't know what it is, but it is just very well done. It's only one season so it is an easy watch.

It's been 3 years since I first wrote about making pretzels from scratch. I still make these from time to time. After the boiling step, I have 9 in the freezer for baking later and these 3 in the toaster oven now!

While I really think rewards need to be off the first layer, I don't think Hive will survive without rewards. It is barely surviving with them.
Maybe not now, but it needs to happen and it's actually built into the code. Block after block the reward pool is decreased. In the meantime, the Hive community needs to oversee the behavior of bad actors by refraining from voting on them and issuing down votes.
User base would crash for sure. Zero doubt.
That's why we need more middle class HIVE holders who create businesses in the HIVE ecosystem. Distribution of the token far and wide is an early phase of this economic system, but it won't be forever. It's in the code.
That's why apps need to be building sources of revenue now to have alternative income that rewards users and increases the value of hive in the long term.
Like ad on peakd. A great start that hopefully others can follow and we can move to a layer two economy at some stage.
Let's give Hive some value!

Yes, in 2020 inflation was 8%, in 2024 it's 6% and it decreases at the rate of 0.01% per 250000 blocks. 250,000 blocks is about 8.68 days. So in 2035 inflation will only be about 1.5%, soon after that, it will reach 0.95% and it will stay there.

Interesting Calgary just got hit by a massive snowstorm, and here where I am 2h driving distance...nothing... everything is dry!
Maybe a few snowplows went through beforehand? Or just the heat melted everything.
I am in a region with high index of winds hehe the winds pushed the clouds away. Usually these winds are annoying but they make us in here to avoid many storms hehe

Mom couldn't wait till Thanksgiving and made a Pumpkin Pie this past weekend. I ate a piece yesterday and it was delish ! No complaints out of me for early Pumpkin Pie !

Ohhhh.... who knew? It is a traditional thing here in the south. We also make pies out of sweet potatoes that are similar. Some people make them with happy spices and some leave them sweetly plain, but we like spices. Tastes like the holidays!
i checked out some recipies online, all recipies includes something called nutmeg, don't have it. would taste okay without it? is it a very essential ingredient?
It will be fine without it. I don't think Mom included it on this one, although she sometimes does. Cinnamon and a hint of cloves and whatever baking spice tastes like the holidays to you. :)

I love the sound of the rain! But Sleeponh with snow is interesting too since it is quieter! The snow absorb the sounds outside and it gets very quiet!
I've never seen snow yet, but I would love to one day. It's one of my dreams for the future.

Ohhh my goodness! That's why my wife won't have another cat. We love him to bits but have paid about 2000usd in vet bills this year.
We feed him a mix of the wet and dry food. We just stocked up on a 7kg bag from Shopee 11/11 sale !

It is sad, that nowadays you have to add "no AI, no Photoshop". Seems that lightpainting is from a different age!
Thanks @stayoutoftherz it's been more than once I've been accused of using AI. I sometimes feel like light painting is past it's peak in that I rarely see something new or innovative and most of the stuff I see from others has been done before. I'm still on the quest!
