Thanksgiving and Gratitude.My Thanksgiving is just coming to an end, and I'm almost too late for @beebers Ecency Discord posting topic this week

I had a wonderful Thanksgiving and there are enough marvelous leftovers in the refrigerator that I will not have to cook all week! I'm certainly grateful for that!
The weather was unseasonably warm and was perfect weather for grilling the turkey!
I'm always grateful for days this time of year with no snow!
Because the 22 lb turkey was being cooked out on the deck, that freed up the oven for baking buttermilk biscuits and focaccia, and making all the sides, sweet potato/ turnip gratin, stuffing, and broccoli with rice, and arancini with marinara. We had numerous salads, including one with beets and eggs and a delicious German potato salad with pickles and peas! And of course, mashed potatoes with homemade gravy and many deserts, including pumpkin pie!
Everyone's plates were heaping full! We ended the day by using the turkey carcass to make a huge pot of turkey noodle soup, and along with portions of the leftovers, everyone had large containers of soup to take home with them.

My grandson had a successful deer hunt and had just picked up the venison after having it cut up and packaged and he gave each of us a package of venison steaks.
I love having all my family together! And that is Number 1 on my gratitude list!
It was a beautiful weekend.

My son bought the grill for me as a gift a few years ago to replace an old one that I had for years, and he does most of the grilling and takes meticulous care of it. It stays covered when it's not being used.
I guess I don't eat enough meat to put it to good use unless the family is here!

Who was the camera person? Did a great job of showing us your wonderful Thanksgiving. Thank you for letting us into your home. If that is what Thanksgiving looks like I can only imagine what Christmas will look like. Glad you had great weather for this event as well . All the best Melinda and to your family as well.
There are several good photographers in our family and these are just a few of the pictures that got shared the 'family album'. I think my daughter in law took most of the photos that I used here. We put up my tree, a fake one, before they left, so I already have a good start on Christmas decorating!
You Guy's are so lucky to have such a Good Thanksgiving day in culture....the beauty of life in one table... Wish all families stay unite and happy with each other be thankful and grateful on same table always.

Only quick because everyone worked to get the kitchen cleaned up and soup preparations under way so the it would be ready for each of them to have some to take with them when it was time to leave for home!
