Yoruba Altar (Orisha)

If you arrive in Cuba, it is very likely that you will hear mention of the Afro-Cuban or Yoruba religion, because among the religions practiced in the country, it is one of the most deeply rooted and followed. Centuries ago the aborigines professed their religion and their cults, although these did not pass on to other generations due to the aboriginal extinction in the country. The Spanish colonizers brought Catholicism, as in the rest of Latin America, which did become widespread. The slaves from Africa also came with their beliefs and gods. Even the Chinese, Hindus and Arabs who settled there left traces of their religion and culture in the Greater Antilles.

My favorite is Ogun, the god of war and technology. Ogun doesn’t approve of scammers using technology. He prefers face to face combat.
