This is a 3rd person sci-fi shooter action role-playing video game for Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows and later PlayStation 3, developed by BioWare, a renowned role-playing game development studio.
The Xbox 360 edition was released globally in 2007, published by Microsoft Game Studios. The Microsoft Windows edition was released in 2008 and published by Electronic Arts. The PlayStation 3 edition was released in 2012 as part of the Mass Effect Trilogy compilation, which was converted to Sony' s console by Edge of Reality and published by Electronic Arts.
Subsequently, two sequels to the game have been released to complete a trilogy: Mass Effect 2 in 2010 and Mass Effect 3 in 2012.

In this epic sci-fi role-playing video game developed by BioWare, players embark on a galactic adventure filled with intrigue, action and decisions that affect the fate of the galaxy.
