Wow.. which GoPro are you using. Superb pictures. That looks like what I would have. The GoPro on the stick is what I always carry with me in case I need to suddenly capture some footage. =) I usually use my computer to do the posting. =) Maybe I love the feeling of the keypads. =) Nice post. I will share my messy workplace tomorrow. =)

The gopro is fantastic isn't it. I also carry it with me when we're off the boat just in case an amazing photo is waiting me. I can't fit a desktop computer on the boat so no keypad for me. I'm a one-finger typist on the tablet haha. i will look out for your hive station post 😎

Not having a computer makes our mind creative at times.. =) Your photos are amazing.. =) Are those original photos or any colour grading done? Thanks for looking at the onshore hive station.. Do you have strong internet connection at sea?

My constant changing and beautiful surroundings help keep my mind creative that's for sure. Some of my photos have colour enhancement 🤫 but alot are original. And thanku for reading about my hive station 😃

Hahahha.. finally I know the true secret... Of ur photos.. do u plan your routes like where to go for each day?

Re: internet signal. If we're too far offshore we have no signal at all but most of the islands we are hopping through are close enough to the mainland to pick up minimal service. Once we clear customs and leave Australian waters we won't have service again until we reach Indonesia.

But there is radio communication on board that doesn't need any internet right? I am learning a lot of how life is on board a vessel at sea.

We plan our routes based on how many nautical miles we can do in a day sail so we can anchor up each night. However, once we leave Cairns we will have stretches of sailing right through the night as well. And 6 to 7 nights to Indonesia Whilst in Australia we have radio communication but once we leave to sail to Indonesia we will only be able contact boats within about 30 miles of us.

Thanks for letting me know.. Wow.. the stretches of sailing right through the night is on manual or auto.. I guess, it takes a bit of training and experience to be able to do what you do.

I've never done a night sail but it does concern me. My husband tells me not to stress about it but I'm just a tad scared. We have an auto pilot but when we're using it someone needs to be at the helm watching.
