When it comes to writing it's better to stay away from rules at first and not expect anything and then something words flow. The moment I think about motive and purpose I lose the meat of what I wanted to write. Looking through Hive I see people recording their daily thoughts and activity and stories that are not complete until they connect with an audience. After that connection is made then the process can continue. Your poem is a much needed rest for yourself and for us. Take your time on the story but don't put it too far away. I'm interested in how you connect the pieces. !LUV

I can definitely relate to that; it's a double-edged sword in my experience. I think this will be fun — I'll try to brainstorm a few of the qualities I've noticed about creating freeform vs. with rules/constraints.
