Except for people who were born with everything they need and wanted and had a secured future, everyone at one point in time had wished they were born under different circumstances.
I think even people who are born with everything they need at one point yearn for a normal life. Mostly because of other priceless things like freedom to live how they want and make their choices. It’s no hidden secret most of these people born into wealthy families already have their lives planned for them: what schools they’ll attend, who they’ll marry, inheriting the family business. In most cases, there’s nothing they can do about it even if the choices thrusted upon them are not what they want.
So in a way, whether you were born rich or poor, you’ll always want something. Some of the rich yearn for priceless things like health, family, and peace of mind- things that can be available for the poor. But the poor feel incomplete without the money that can’t help the rich in this regard. It is simply human nature. We’re insatiable and no amount of wealth or health will ever satisfy us.
It’s best to enjoy life in out own little ways because problem really never dey finish. Lol.
Hello man, thanks for coming through. That's one angle to look at it, and you're ultimately right. However, I was writing from the POV of people who had nothing and wished they could swap that life for even a little bit of connection to ease their burden and struggle. In reality, people who have been through the ringer would have no problem with their life being planned for them provided it entailed giving them what they need to survive. Although when they have it all, they'll begin to miss the Freedom of choice they had. In all sincerity, life struggles can be meaningless, yet we still fight at the slightest of everything.
Ahh you’re absolutely right. My mind just wandered off into a bit of thinking in another pov. I like the way you examine life based on your experience, man. Good stuff.
However, I totally understand it from your point of view. The truth is that our anatomy as people is very complex, we cannot even begin to decipher ourselves.

You know, this actually reminds me to talk about something I’ve found surprising for a while now. I’ve never seen you talk about music. I have a UK rapper I’d recommend you listen to if you enjoy rap:)
