~ Triage ~
I was just going to wait until i finish this artwork before publishing anything about it. However, as long-winded, as i can be at times and based on the number of images i usually share... i thought i would be doing us all a favor and splitting it up into more than one post. Everything i post here is just less i need to add in the process next time when i show you the final results.
~ Tools and Tutelage ~
Bob Ross The Ultimate Art Motivator!
All further images are in sequential order
So, i start with a blank sheet of high-quality (that's debatable) 8.5 x 11 standard printer paper. I thought taking a photo of the blank paper would give a good premise for the adventure to come.
Next, i wanted to show my tools. I really kept it quite simple this time around. For anyone that knows me at all... Keeping things simple is one of my greatest weaknesses. However, in this case... i used a simple arsenal of tools thus far.
You won't see the yellow Sharpie until the very end of this W.I.P., or Work In Progress, for those that don't know the term. But the first three purple Prismacolor wax-based colored pencils are the primary tools for this art in this post.
I did round up all the colors i used so far to get to where i'm at and the one metallic-copper pencil because i know that's gonna help me where i'm going. These are the tools i'm using so far. I didn't show the black Sharpie but that's the first instrument of art you will see for the outline sketch.
You can't see... but i am using an outline of the sketch above to draw in color on the top layer. For those of you that do digital art... this is the analog origination of that same process. If you look closely in the next image you can see the black Sharpie outline underneath the top layer that i am using as a guide to draw this art in color.
Since everyone like boobies.. i thought i would show an up close insight into how this art would start. As the image progresses you will see how this image isn't just gratuitous boobs but a beginning in an artistic journey that starts in fertility.
I tried to take as many step-by-step photos as possible... but i'm sure i fell short. I hope you enjoy my best efforts though!
I actually edited each photo in this post to accentuate the color, detail, or lighting. So as we progress... you will see a difference in some images in the color saturation or the lighting.
These aren't my best photographci captures... but the definitely document my artistic process. I have scans in high-resolution of my process but i will save them for the final post and for the purchasers of my NFT when i finish this artwork. In the meantime, i have taken some photos in macro and of differnt perspectives to capture particular details.
~ Full-Filled ~
I can't really explain my Expectant series completely... but it's an artistic theme i will be going with off and on here for a while. Nothing says love and life more than the beauty of a pregnant female... in my humble opinion. I love art and i love beuty and the Expectant series is where these two principals collide artistically.
Love Fulfilled
So, here you can see that i am beginning to fill in the female on our right side. The idea was to have a mirrored image of two pregnant females overlapping.
Of course, this is a much more difficult challenge in a handmade fashion that it would be digitally... to just mirror one image or one work of art.
I took my time to show off the steps of development along the way. I am quite proud of the outcome considering i used no digital help in this artistic production.
Other than adjusting the color saturation, the clarity, and the lighting of my photos... there is absolutely no manipulation of the art in it's process. The high resolution scans in my next post will prove that out!
Step by step i tired to mirror the artistic process to get consistency in both renderings of the two purple chicks. I used a light, medium, and then a dark purple. I used the two lighter purples to blend it all out. There are far more layers to this process than it would seem upon first glance.
~ FILLER ~
Beauty is subjective... but i think this is one of my most beautiful art endeavors, contourly speaking, ever! I hope this post and art process shares the beauty as well as i would like. Please, feel free to offer any suggestions or constructive criticisms in the comments below.
Building Beauty
As i got my bearings with the lady on the right... it was a challenge to match and mirror that same process with the lovely lady on the left. I tried my best but still see so many mistakes and divergences from what could have been a perfect copy. If you look closely in the next image... you can see the underlying guidelines.
I altered the light and saturation settings so the next image looks a bit lighter than the image above... but they are about the same taken at the same period of progress.
I personally like the photos of the art where you can't see the underlying guidelines. Drawing in color is a bold endeavor. Most people draw with a sketch or some kind of line design to guide them along the way. From time to time, i enjoy drawing in color. It gives a slight bit of a more realistic feel to the imagery when it's done right and proper. I will let y'all decide if this art of mine.
Filling the void in with color...
Now things are blending together...
~ Unifying Force ~
Happy Accidental Link
Along the way... i have seen ways to improve and mistake made along the way that correction cannnot be implemented. I take it as 'Happy Accidents!' I have been figuring this artwork out as i go and i have no regrets.
Each next step is a precarious opportunity to mess up the whole artwork.
I boldly moved forward to achieve each advancement, however, this artwork has taken much longer that it should have because of my reticence.
You can see in these images that i was sketching in color the faces and the overlapping arms.
I shot different photographs to accentuate different aspects of what beauty there was to behold.
~ Expressions Towards the Abstract ~
World Building
At this point things are coming together. I got some help from a friend or two that will remain unnamed. But that help definitly gave me some direction towards what the objective would be. The color scheme was what was in question. Now, i know where things are going.
The purple was the easy part once i committed to that direction. It was the face and the hair that then came into question. You probably forgot abou the third chick as well. I knew i didn't want her to be purple too.
Getting things to be the best they could be was actually more difficult and challenging than you realize. There were more layers and steps to blending than should actually be the case. I went over the total area of color coverage with the lightest purple but mostly the medium purple many times over.
~ A Little Help From My Friend ~
Well, all my pets are dead now so i couldn't participate in the last Pet Photography Deranged Photography Contest. I didn't think any of my shots were worthy to submit. However, if you want to join the fun... this week's theme is Monochrome if you are a photographer and are interested to join The Deranged Photography Contest.
I get by with a little help from my Friend
As for me, this is the closest buddy i have at the moment to being a pet. She (now i now because she has rows of nipples) has become quite fond of me. I have peanuts i give her and she has been most curtious to recieve them.
She takes the peanut out of my hand and goes not very far away to dig in. She has put her head in my hand and used her little hand to push off my fingers when getting her peanuts. It's funny really.
Her way of saying thank you is pusing off on me in an unnecissary way after she has what she wants. I feel that something is better than nothing and i find it to be quite cute.
I could have broken this all into (at least) more than one post... but i figured this was the way to go. She didn't necissarily help me with the art but many times when i came outside to take a break she was there. So, i credit her for helping me chill out and to enjoy the process.
She and i are actually building up quite the repoir. She has almost let me pet her as i hand-feed her. But not quite yet. I am still thinking of a name for her. I know for sure she isn't my little buddy from my last post. And now, instead of looking for nuts, i think seeing the nipple rows is a much more accurate way to access if these squirrel friends of mine are male or female.
It actually makes me feel special to think i have made such close bondes with 2 or more squirrels to be able to hand feed them. My goal is to get them to hop in my lap and hang out or a nice petting. But, that might just be wishful thinking! hahaha
Chill Out
~ MORE TO COME ~
So, now i have the color, form, contour, and figures mirrored as much as possible to my hand-made physical ability. This is where the nerves set in.Pretty much any move i make at this point could ruin the entire artowork.... so i proceed with caution.
At this point, i am thinking about what to do with the third female from the sketch on the top of this image. What color should HER skin be... what color hair should she have. I'm thinking what color hair should these purple chicks have?
What color eyes should they have and how can that cooridinate with their hair?!? Should the nipples be Metallic Copper or should they connect together, as the hari will, in a milkish whit expression?
Many decisions to be made creatively, and each decision could alter the entire course of the artwork. It's really interesting to consider how the smallest choices and decisions can have the greatest future impact on the outcome of things. I guess this is completely true to life as well!
Though, serious shit in life is not relegated to color choice. So, i'm fortunate (for now) that choosing colors is my most difficult decision to make at the moment. As you can see from the images above and below... the figure, contours, and forms were easy once colored purple. The next steps were to begin to flesh out the charactersitics of the face. The window of the soul is in the eyes so that's where i started. I used the metallic purple and some purple/red tones more in line with a Fuschia.
The darkest purple was used as an outline and blender as well as the mid and light-toned purple. I drew out all these colors in different layers in order to blend them all together. There are successes and failures, in my opinion, on both the chicks on the left and right. But maybe that will all be rectified by the lovely lady above!?
Stay tuned to see how this thing figures itself out! I am just a vehicle of artistic expression. I will definitely be minting this final outcome on my NFT Showroom Gallery.
I'll make is super cheap so anyone/everyone that wants to own it can. I love you guys and gals. Thanks for reading this far and taking the time to appreciate my art. I'm sure that you will be more than satisfied with the end result!
I figured the yellow lady would be a nice place-holder to pique your interest. What color hair do you thin the three ladies should have? What else do you see in this imagery that i might be able to illustrate? I would love to hear your feedback. Sorry this has been such a long post... but that just means my next one will be more on point and concise!
Put your mind to it... and you can do it!
Thanks For Your Time & Attention!
Take Care and i will see you all next time... when this shit is finished.
Until then, ...... Try not to party too hard without me!
Castleberry! Thank you for helping get me here! Platform is so dope. Can't wait to start sharing art too!
DUDE! It's so awesome to have you guys on board (finally)!!!! I know y'all are gonna love it and add great value to HIVE! DoodleMania is coming!!!
Beautiful Art, brother!! I love how they are looking like mirror images when it comes to rendering/shading coz it is hard to get the same level of color and shading everytime. Similar to when people say they can't draw an eye with out making it look different from the other lol. Good Job, Bro!! Looking forward for more!!
Thanks, my friend. Great to see you back over here on the Chain bro. Long Live Hive! hahaha
Thanks to YOU to encouraging me, brother!! Hopefully I will be posting some stuff soon :D

where to start..? It does look beautiful, I really like the positioning of the tree women, it reminds me of those photos where you can either see two faces or one candle holder in the middle (you know wich ones i mean?) and I was almost looking for a hidden figure in the white parts of the painting..
also I can feel the pressure of mirroring all those shades, the patience the concentration, but how lovely that is that you get the visit of this squirrel in your breaks. I absolutely love those animals, and I always thought of how awesome it would be to have one as a friend and he could sit on my shoulders while I take a walk through the forest and then hop on and of as he or she likes..:)
For the hair color, or any additional color, that is a very hard decision indeed, its is also a very interesting one though, I sometimes do choose colors by feelings towards them, for example female for me is mostly yellow.. but anyway good luck with that choice:)
And for the end, beeing "a vehicle of artistic expressions" really sticked to me, it is a very nice/accurate description, I really liked that one!!
I am looking forward to the finished piece, really wondering how the colors going to turn out.. until then have fun, cheers:)
Hey, i'm so glad you stopped by and took the time to check out my art. I'm thankful for your meaningful comment too. Yes, i did know what you meant by those images with hidden stuff in the negative space. Hahaha
The pressure was on to match the values and tones and contours in the mirroring aspects... but it's coming along fairly well. I'm on the hair now and i am experimenting with a color or color options that will either turn out splendid or ruin the whole thing! hahhaa No Pressure!
I'm glad my words resonated with you. I figured most people don't read my long posts but just scroll and scroll through the images. So, thanks for reading.
The squirrel i have named Luci and she lets me pet her a little while i feed her. So, i guess things are moving along well. It would be nice to have her chill on my shoulder! hahhaa
Take care and thanks again for stopping by. Keep your artistic expressions rolling along too!
ooh I am a bit behind..:) just realized that you already posted the following up of your work, I ll check that out first and the reply to everything at the same time:)
Great to get to walk through this creation to see the different stages, as so often with art we just see the finished product. Seeing the pencils and each stage of the work gives it added intrigue in my opinion, thanks for sharing it with the community.
Awesome comment. Thanks for the appreciation for me sharing the tools and the process. I am with you, the final result is great but it's so much better when we get to experience the journey! I appreciate your time to come stop by and check out my art and for leaving such a meaningful comment! I am documenting the work up to the finish in the same way. Honestly, i'm glad i didn't just save it all for one long ass post! hahahha
Hello, I like this work with its two women ready to give life. The color violet is a color that I really like, it is spiritually rich and symbolizes intuition and awareness. Your friend the squirrel is very pretty, I remember that you showed us another photo of him. I really like your creation! Goodbye
Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to check out and comment on my art. I am happy that you like the color choices. This squirrel is actually a different one than the one i showed before. This one now lets me pet her while i feed it peanuts. Take care and it was good to see you.
I like this color it soothes me and I like squirrels they are almost invisible animals. At home They are present in our environment but we only see them very rarely.
I noticed from my time in Europe, that squirrels are more sparse and not as commonly seen as here in Texas. Here, the squirrels are bold and do what they want. hahaha
That tone of purple, lilac, and lavender soothes me as well.
YAY! I've been waiting to see what you're working on.
I like your description of analog origination. That's the kind I'm most familiar with. Lovely purples and so deliciously curvy. Looks very dynamic and flowing. I'll be curious to see how you work out the third figure in yellow.
Hair colours....hmmm...since you asked, maybe work the purple ladies hair into deeper tones of purple, with some blues, then yellow highlights. For the yellow figure, a mix of colours in a similar way that blends down into the other two figures? Hahaha, totally not sure here, since there's several ways you could work with this.
Love the squirrel story, too cute. 😁
I thought such things were completely acceptable, but maybe my perception is skewed due to my current gratuitous nipple project.
You had me at 'gratuitous nipple project' (which is funny because it's the last thing you said)
Gratuitous Boobs.... hmmm
I think you said it best by describing them as deliciously curvy. Thanks for appreciating the look and i enjoyed your description of this being dynamic and flowing. I think the flow and expressive surrealistic themes will increase with the rendering of the hair. You had some great ideas for your suggestions with the hair. I do appreciate your feedback. If you look at the Sharpie image or the sketch you will see that the hair of the purple chicks connects.
Having the yellow lady's hair drop down and connect could be interesting as well. I was considering putting on possibly two more pregnant ladies on the edges and oppositely oriented from the purple ones. If i do one lady... she will wrap around to the other side. We shall see. Thanks for stopping by and taking your time sharing such a meaningful comment. Looking forward to seeing your nipples! hahaha
😂Frankly, been holding of posting any art I've already done that has boobs, nipples and other parts as subject matter. This new fully gratuitous nipple extravaganza project has to happen by Saturday, so I'm squeezed into a deadline. (I should give forewarning that my sense of humour gets very strange, weird and wild)
Yes, I love the curves in this, the fullness of the belly of each, with the breasts repeating that, also with an expectant fullness. Quite a lovely design. I agree with you about the rendering of the hair. I can see that already occurring. I took a close look at both drawings you suggested and can see that there (I was very distracted by all those curves in purple, Canadian sorrrrry).
Hahaha! So many ways you've suggested you could go with this. Building anticipation for the finished work aren't you? All of them sound workable. LOL, I'm even more curious now to see where you will take this.
You're welcome, really enjoyed your post.
I've nipple committed. #proofofnipple, #pon, just ask @unklebonehead. 😉
Hahaha nipple committed! I love it. #pon if you don't get it by your deadline... it never happened.
My sense of humor gets pretty dark, bizarre, and oftentimes inappropriate. Sorrry (in Canadian) / Not Sorrrry... hahaha
I'm glad you checked out what i was mentioning and can see some of the vision in possible direction with where this is going. I thnk i was building my own anticipation and happy to take y'all with me.
I am super glad you enjoyed the post and loved the contours as much as me. When you do make your art or share any of the others that you have been holding off... feel free to share them here in the AlienArtHive Community. I'm anxiously anticipating your #proofofnipple! hahhaa
I have no idea how these things pop out of my finger lips. I agree, that's why I'm working on it right now.
Oh good, so my sense of humour isn't going to be too much, wipes brow in relief.
I tend to check out what's suggested, the cat in me is always curious, lol. A fun ride is always a welcome experience.
I'll post #proofofnipple in AlienArtHive Community, that should fit well, with this one, lol, thanks! 😂😂😂
Well, considering there are no nipples in mine yet... i have a #LACKofProofofNipple
Let the fun ride begin! It's a race for the nipple finish line. hahaha
LOL, I'd say that's a temporary nipple-less situation!
Are those nipple tacos?
I love how you choose the color yellow for the third lady bro! It draws my eyes from the center to the top viewing the beauty of both the purple pregnant and the lady on top of them. I see how you have so much fun not only for the art that you are making but also the female squirrel friend you have. She's a she after all ahaha. I love the detailed and very effort you always put in everything you post brother I have fun reading it!

Hey browski! Thank you for your kind words of appreciation and for your thoughtful comments. I had been thinking about the color scheme and i'm still not to a final decision on exactly which way to finish it up... but i have a decent idea and direction. I think you are going to love the yellow lady once i get some tones and shading done on her contours.
I do have fun with art as much as i can. I do put some pressure on myself but i think that helps drive things to a better degree of quality in the end. I was late getting on here to catch up on the comments because i was feeding my little lady friend! HAhahaha
Thanks for the 1ups PGM and Pizza! It's much appreciated my friend. Lookiing forward to when you enter the Splinterlands art contest again! You have been very engaging in that community and it's always nice to see your encouragement of others as i curate the art! Cheers bro
No problem at all bro! Haha it's fun to see other artist gather here in the post and comment section. As I was reading some, maaann you all so deep I was so fascinated on how you and they define the art that you are making and I'm really excited on how it will end up to. I'm pretty sure it's all building up in you artistic mind bro.
That's art should be fun! hahaha yeah I can sense the pressure you put in art bro but that's how we improve ourselves though. Striving to be a better version of our self. Hahaha I supposed you got a name for your lil lady friend here now that you know it's a female right.
Oh that's a lil tips though but it's very much appreciate to have gratitude in every little thing you received, thanks bro! Hahaha yeaaah my little way of encouragement somehow inspire some to really pursue something that they love to do. I can see some that improves as well, it's just fun to have a group of artist lifting up each other. And for some I hope they put the effort to create and have an integrity to the art they're making.
Yeah hahaa I got really busy bro daily duty and got some commission artworks I will be back when I have the time to. But well I have fun viewing others entry for Splinterlands Art Contest. Cheers Brother!
Yes, it's always cool to have artists appreciate their fellow artists and their artworks. I think it's a synergy of inspiration and encouragement. There can also be ideas that come from exposure to such a great environment that promotes creativity. Splinterlands artists are similar. I'm glad that you are helping motivate them over there to grow there skills and continue to put forth good effort.
I haven't actually named my squirrel friend yet. I'm thinking about a good one for her. hahaha
I agree that pushing ourselves in our art does tend to bring out the best. I am having some ideas about how to finish this up... but i think it will develop along the way! Take care browski and hope your work and commissions go well.
Yeah I agree with that bro I'm glad I found this Hive Blockchain, the community here is so welcoming and supportive, with that I'm returning the good things to others as well. Splinterlands is the main reason I have found my way all the way here and get to know lots of people that includes you man. It's fun here too lots of things to see and read through.
Hahaha How hard naming a pet can be bro. Well I know you can come up with a good name for her.
Pushing through the limits bro yes we can! But yeah Happy accidents also comes up along the process.
Thanks a lot bro all is well hope you have an awesome and great day!
Thanks man. Yes, i'm glad i found this blockchain community as well. It's progressed and grown a lot in many ways. I almost have the yellow chick done. I've been working on her most of the afternoon and evening.
I am particular and picky about my names... so i want to take my time and make it right. I guess it's that meticulous side of me! hahahha
I'm glad you are here too bro. Take Care and have an awesome day/night!
I really like this. Particularly the symmetry. I know that can be quite difficult to maintain.
My Uncle was a wood carver. He particularly liked to carve burls of wood. He would always say that we never carved the sculpture, all we do was remove the waste to reveal the sculpture.
And of Course, Bob Ross should be Knighted and Sainted (with a little time travel thrown in for effect)
“Every day is a good day when you paint.” Bob Ross
HAhaha Yes, Bob should be inducted into the Hall of Fame OF LIFE Knighted and Sainted for sure. You Uncle sounds/sounded like a cool dude. I think one of the renaissance sculptors said something similar as well.
I have always had the idea that i would grow old and smoke an old-timey pipe and widdle wood when i got old. But hell.... why wait?!
Thanks for taking time to check out my post and to comment. I'm really glad you liked the symmetry. That was one of the highlights for me in the design of this one. It has been difficult to maintain... especially in the coloring process since they have happened at such different times. Remembering the proper order of the layering and blending has been an interesting challenge.
The coloring of this illustration is going very well broo! I love those shades of purple. Honestly the shading is very well done, it gives volume to the drawing. The concept of motherhood and its beauty is very well represented, I have no doubt that the final result will be great. I like how careful and meticulous you are with your process, which can be seen in this post.
By the way, when I saw the photo of the squirrel I thought it was the last time. I'm glad you got a new squirrel friend, your circle of friends is growing! hahaha. Cheers bro!
Yes, i thought it was the same one at first too. Until i realized it wasn't completely comfortable with me yet. I am pretty sure the one from last year was a dude... since i know what to look for now! hahaha
Thanks for noticing the volume based on the tone and shade blending. That was one of my motives for not doing my normal process of pencil and ink and then color. I wanted to draw in color and not use lines as my main element. So, now color and shade will have to get most of the work done and maybe some fine details in ink at the very end. We shall see. Thanks for noticing my meticulous nature as well. It's a blessing and a curse!
I appreciate you man... Cheers bro!
Highlighting the color drawing was a good choice. I think you have put that meticulous nature to productive use, as your artistic works are very well crafted. I like to see how the drawing develops and you talk about it in great detail. I appreciate you too broo! =) Cheers!
I'm so glad that you shared your progress @castleberry as I Love to see images as they grow and change.
I've thought about taming our squirrels but they are such beasts in our garden, digging up my bulbs, eating all the bird seed and knocking that over, getting into my fruit cage etc, so I've refrained haha.
Well, you know what color hair I'd suggest, Ginger, the contrast against the purple would def pop. I'm excited to see the final piece and I might have to nab one of those #NFT when they are made :)
I fully understand about the taming of the squirrels. This one is a proper lady... but the one or ones from last year (which i think were males now) were definitely destructive. One of them would come and wait for peanuts by eating a hole in one of the patio chairs and stealing the stuffing out of it! hahahah
I'm glad you enjoyed the progress shots. It was a pain in the ass to edit and add them all. But i always feel like it's not the full experience to share if i skip steps or don't show the progress and transitions.
I was considering orange hair for the yellow lady and possible blue hair for the purple ladies. OF course, my first idea was red/ginger for the purple ladies. I haven't made up my mind completely yet... but i guess that will add to the suspense and anticipation! hahaha I appreciate you stopping by and leaving some meaningful commentary! Cheers my friend. =)
Hello @castleberry! Looks creative and surreal, Body shapes are very well rendered. I want to note how symmetrically you drew these two figures and gave them volume. With pleasure I will look at the final result, I'm sure it will turn out interesting. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
P.s. Sorry for asking here, I tried to find information on the internet and what I found didn't work for me. I wanted to know how do you make colored text? If it is not difficult for you to tell me please, I will be very grateful to you. Sincerely.
Howdy bro! Thanks for stopping by and for your kind words of appreciation. I really enjoyed the voluptuous volume and contours of these females. I think it's got to be one of the most beautiful forms that exist. This work will get more surreal once i get the hair going. The symmetry was a really interesting but difficult part of the design and it was and still is challenging to execute. Thanks for noticing!
P.S. The only color that i have figured out how to use so far is red. I don't know if any other colors are possible but you have to put the code in the editor when you are creating your post.
< div class="phishy"> Your Text Goes Here < /div>
I put a space after the < so you could see the code. Just remove the space in front of the d in both open and close brackets.
These plump women are very figured. Their figures are very figured, hehe, sorry for the taftology. Your work sincerely sympathizes with me and I will explain why. I love drawings, I love to draw, and for me, what is created by hands is a form of expression of thoughts, it is something that is difficult to put into words and you need to see with your eyes, or listen with your ears (if it is music). I love to delve into the canvases, I love it when people create something in front of my eyes. I myself started drawing as a child on wallpaper, then in notebooks at school, then in albums and on the walls, then a break of 10 years and now I’m trying to draw something again, I really want to learn how to use watercolor, I’m studying early and new videos from our wonderful person , brush master - Shibasaki 💚 (earlier he was here only on Steemit and not on the Hive.) I will try to share my drawings with you soon, and I will follow the creativity here on Hive with great pleasure. Art is everything!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for telling me how to use the red text color! I did not find it in Google, or rather I found a different code (it does not work). From the bottom of my heart bro!
No problem on the Red code. Let me know if you ever find any other colors that work.
I am super happy to hear that the imagery resonated with you so much. I do love the plumpness of these voluptuous ladies too.
It was interesting to hear about your art journey! I'm glad you are getting back into it. I will have to check out the master Shibasaki. I have never really gotten into paint or watercolors yet. Someday, perhaps. Thanks for your response. Take care brother! =) I will keep an eye out for your art to come! =) Keep up the great work.
Mutually brother, glad to meet you. I am sincerely pleased to conduct such lamp conversations! Purely from the heart bro.
You are a pretty cool dude and i am glad that we've met and had the chance to have some cool conversations. I'm sure we have many more to come!
I love the brilliance in how the colours were and can't wait to see the finished work. We'd be sending some booze from the party, hope they don't affect the W.I.P. 😉
ufff... coloring on paper generates a lot of stress for me. I'm nervous about damaging a painting, I think I'll stick with digital art haha.
Congratulations I love the progress, but my favorite is the girl in yellow that is still in process. I even have a picture like that from my pregnancy.
I hope to see more of the girl in yellow.
I sent you the sneak peak on your post. Definitely, more yellow to come. The scans will do a bit more justice too. I actually did damage the paper a bit under the breast of the purple lady on the right. It's definitely nerve-racking to not want to mess up each step and stage along the way of the development.
ahhahaha
I guess i am old fashioned and a glutton for punishment! hahaha
Thanks again for stopping by and taking time to comment and support the post! Cheers

It's your artwork! Love it! Just was attract by the art.
My target to creat a post.
Will bookmark for further reading.
Cute squirrel!
Teaching how a post must be done. 🙏❤️
Hahaha! I'm glad you stopped by and loved the art. Take your time reading it... or skip it. I'm just explaining my thoughts and the process. Nothing too important. I got the yellow chick done today. Now, i will sleep and think about all that hair to work on tomorrow.
Maybe i will name the squirrel Luci... 😉
Here's my target...
Great name!
I thought you might appreciate that! She let me pet her for the first time today. I think she likes her new name! hahahha
Ow! So adorable. If possible share more pictures... So beautiful creatures.
We don't have many squirrel around here. But found out they exist here too. But never see one. Always remember about tico & teco cartoon 😊
Ahhhh yes, Chip 'n Dale cartoon. Yes... hahahha I will try to get some more photos of 'LUCI' or take a video and share it. She is pretty adorable... and considering the fact she is wild and we just met... i'm shocked (in a good way) that she has allowed me to pet her.
I was able to stroke her on the head between the ears... and to pet her on her back a little. She wasn't happy about it.. but she allowed it. As long as i have peanuts i think she will be ok. hahahha She did get more curious and personal on her own though. She sniffed my fingers and used her tiny hands to pull my fingers closer to her.
My goal is to get her to sit in my lap while i feed her peanuts and pet her. But... i won't get my hopes up too high! hahahha
Ow! Luci so cute. Imagining the scene here. Yeah, keep lot of nuts, looks like she is a nut digger. 😅
Stoke on head?! 🤔 Hope not like heart stroke. 😂
Very charming, you have a great ability in coloring. I really like the shades you can create, switch from one color to another color in harmony. Fantastic.
Thanks brother! Blending one color into another has been one of my favorite techniques throughout the years. I'm not as good at it as i used to be... so what better time to wake up the skills and practice than now??? ahahha
I appreciate you stopping by and taking the time to comment. Good to see you man.
I love all the added details of your creative process. Great job!
Thanks! I'm glad you took the time to come to check it out and leave a comment. =)
I love it!! You are very talented for this! Good luck with the NFT topic!! 😊
I'm glad you love it! Thanks for taking time to stop by and check it out. I think it will have a good end result. We will see about how the NFT sales go. You can check out my gallery at the NFT Showroom on Hive... here.
Take care and happy travels! =)
Thank you!!
You're welcome. =)
I am not an artist but I so much admire this Job. It's really amazing, the contours are well captured too . It's a brilliant job, Weldon 💪
Thank you for your admiration for this artwork and for your appreciation of the contours. Thanks for taking the time to come and check it out and comment. Cheers!
You are most welcomed!
I also like painting very much, but I tried many times and it didn't work. For example, when I start from the corner of work and I want to connect the two sides, it becomes very funny and maybe bigger than what I want and it does not fit. Hahahahaha, maybe I do not have the power to visualize. And maybe I do not have the talent for painting. You have done an excellent job. And we are waiting for the main images. Good luck
Thank you for your kind words. I think you just need to keep practicing and have fun with it. Over time you will grow your skills and get better at sharing your vision.
This is amazing! I only wish I also have the same skill in shading and color, but I can't wait to see the finished art!
Thanks for stopping by and enjoying the art! I'm sure that practice makes perfect.
I look forward to seeing the finished work too! hahaha
You can't go wrong if you start with the boobs 😂
Every journey usually begins with a first step. In this case, it was a quadruple double step! hahaha
I can't wait to see the finished product. This is awesome. You are way cooler than I could ever be.
I think it's going to end up pretty badass! Thanks for taking the time to drop by and check it out.
just make art out of this
its the eyes
Not a bad idea! Thanks for the suggestion.
@castleberry It is so interesting to see your process. The shading intricacies are just amazing. Would love to see the finished art.
The squirrel pics and story behind them are cute too. 😍
Yes, i finally got the squirrel to let me pet her! It was amazing. I hope to finish this soon and make another post wrapping things up. Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to check out my art and comment on it!
@castleberry It is my pleasure. You have an interesting take on things and it is always refreshing to interact with you!😀
I appreciate that! And... i embrace it! hahahaha
Good proposal, with its respective dose of expressionism, we await the final results of the composition. Greetings brother.
I'm glad you like it! It's going to get more expressive and crazy as the hair comes to life! Thanks for stopping by.
Waiting to see the final version!
Me too! hahaha 😂
😆
Although simple, no doubt. This is a truly amazing art. Cool 😍
Thanks for taking the time to check it out!
