5-min Freewrite: No traction

in Freewriters13 days ago (edited)

This past month, I had a lot going on. I was what we can call my version of ‘booked and busy.’

  • I had some freelancing projects I was closing out.
  • We were also wrapping up the first semester, only to immediately commence examinations.

So, I was constantly occupied, trying to complete one task after another.

But then, as if on cue, school closed for the session, and I completed most of my projects not long afterwards.

Now, I don’t know what to do with myself.

It feels like I’ve no traction.

How do I overcome this period of no traction?

I can’t wait for the start of the new session so I can get back on track.

…’Yay!’ to new gigs too.

But seriously, how do y’all do it? How do you get used to slowing down after been occupied for weeks or even for longer periods of time?

Cheers to that,
Anny
