"How much for the ranch?" Mr Edgar asked the sales agent. He had been taken on a tour round the farm and it was up to his taste. The grasses were lush and green and there was a clear spring running on the edge of the farm. It was so clear one could see the colorful fishes frolicking inside. There was a lot of trees consisting of figs, eucalyptus, fir, pears and some conifers. The farm was fenced all round with wire mesh and the stable was still sturdy and clean.
The cattle house and hold for the sheep and goats was still in good form. As for the farmhouse itself, it was still in good condition. The glistering white painted walls shows sign of a recent refurbishing and the chimneys still gave out smoke.
"It's will cost you £200,000 plus tax, Sir". The sales agent said.
"Okay. Get the documents ready and let me have the account details for immediate payment, okay?"
"Alright Sir". The sales agent said smiling. " Sorry Sir, can I ask a question, please? "
"Go ahead".
"Sir, I know you 're the CEO of Light group of companies, why are you buying a farm in the middle of the countryside?" The sales agent looked puzzled.
Mr Edgar smiled.
"I'm looking to retire so, I need a quiet and natural place to spend my retirement days. Somewhere away from the hustle and bustle of city life".
