MUD PIE

Jennifer crashed on her bed. She had just returned from the massive delivery she had. She sighed twice as she reminisced her childhood. When she was innocent and enjoyed running around in the rain. She craved the innocency of childhood when her parents would take her on walks, when she was free to roam the bushes, collect flowers and be carefree.

She missed having to make mud pies with her friends in the fields as they celebrated each other's fake birthday. She smiled as the thought struck her. She wished to go back to those memories even when she knew how impossible it was. She wished she was warned about the difficulty that came with adulthood but it was too late to go back. If only there was a way back...if only...she thought.
