In light of recent events and the improvement in technology, it is much more easier to be an impostor. An impostor on the throne is very much possible. They can even have followers belief their lie.
Right from home, the image of an impostor can be used to replace the real title holder sitting on the throne. This image can be seen throughout the kingdom and even the world. Those who do not have a clear picture of the title holder would assume the impostor is.
Well, an impostor has his agenda and most times it is for a deceitful gain. They usually want to steal something, maybe money, treasure, gold etc. The act can be a distraction from the action of stealing.
Even in our usual community, we see people who pretend to be someone else on different guises. I have fallen for an impostor before and I did believe because I was still very much asleep only to find out it was someone else, I could not believe I would fall for something like that but she did the act so well.
So, impostor on the throne.
