That every instant is fleeting,
Life goes on,
Yesterday will never return.
Being a child is an eternal game,
Young, spring in bloom.
Until old age comes to us
Merging both seasons.
Passion dominates us whole,
Fear immobilises us.
Habit is the beaten path,
All attachment enslaves us.
I learned that power changes,
Though money does not heal wounds.
Courage is strength,
Being submissive suffocates us.
