Now I walk along the sidewalk,
of my memory and of my heart,
with slow steps, as one who clings to a whisper, to a sweet song.
to a whisper, to a sweet song.
The echo of laughter still resounds,
in the cool evening air,
the shadows stretch out, the light poisons
the doubts that weigh, and the soul that burns.
Today I look back, to what was
every golden instant, every sparkle,
the lost embraces, the love that is seen,
in old photographs, on the ground.
Time slides by, an incessant river,
life moves forward, despite the pain,
Now I walk and although it seems gray,
memories bloom, like this destiny.
