In an effort to give back to the society and also foster team cohesion, the corporate social responsibility department of the company partnered with the million tree initiative from the government to organize a tree planting day activity for all employees of the company.
The activity took place at a designated location where it is effectively a bare land. The program director of million tree initiative first addressed all the employees of the company and thank them for doing their part for society. Next, the CEO of the company then gave a speech before everyone took their planting equipment and headed towards the designated plot of land where they will be planting. Each department will be planting a tree and everyone all got their hands dirty, clearing the land, digging sufficient clearance and finally planting the sapling into the dug hole. Every tree planted was then watered by the department head to mark the completion of the planting.
A meaningful day for all the employees who did their part for the community.
