This morning I woke up early. I made coffee, offered food to
The dog, who eats less enthusiastically than he once did.
I don't want to undersell the case. I don't want to oversell it either. He's not who he once was. He hasn't leapt over a baby gate in ages. He hasn't leaped onto a lap in ages. We aren't who we once were. We don't sit for hours at a time with a laptop propped on a pile of pillows, sitting close so that the dog can lay across both of our laps for hours at a time for hours at a time.
