this is my artificial dog. This is what ai is coming to? Is this what AI is coming to? Let's replace all the things we enjoy with AI. Writing, art, performance - how about we have AI do it? The love of a dog? There's not much to improve on with the natural process of that, but sure, let's have AI do it. Fuck you, AI. You're not helping. I think there are useful AI things, like coding. Like writing monumental amounts of code or simple code for folks who don't know how to write code. DO programmers feel like AI is wrong for doing the things? I guess I assume that artists and such are upset about AI doing these things because the marketplace already undervalues our labor, but clearly the marketplace WANTS our labor, or it wouldn't be having AI do it, and our labor is, in our opinion clearly better. AND it's something everyone should do even if they aren't professionals. I don't think programming is something everyone should do even if they aren't professionals, but maybe that's just because I'm steeped in the arts and not the programming. Is this useful introspection, or is it just mirror-staring?
