I wake up every morning and face a world that seems to have completely forgotten me. I am invisible, a ghost wandering through the crowd unnoticed.
Society has ostracised me, leaving me to my own devices and plunging me into the darkness of a mind that has become unhinged by past mistreatment.
My thoughts are my worst enemy. They fight each other, twist and turn and drag me down into abysses of negativity and despair. I am a prisoner of my own mind, where my worst fears and thoughts become a constant reality.
People look down on me, mocking me behind my back without even trying to understand my inner struggle. I am a source of entertainment for them, an object of laughter and scorn. But behind my dishevelled appearance and lost look, there is a battle that no one else can see.
In my darkest moments, when the loneliness becomes unbearable and the whispers of society become deafening, I try to find a light of hope. I search deep inside myself for the strength to carry on, despite the voices that tell me to give it all up.
Sometimes, I find comfort in small gestures of kindness. A stranger who smiles at me or someone who offers me a kind word. These little sparks of humanity make me believe that I am not completely lost, that there is still some compassion in this indifferent world.
My internal struggle continues, day after day. Even though society has cast me aside, my unhinged mind and my worst thoughts try to devour me, I continue to resist. I don't know what the future holds, but as long as there is a spark of hope, I will keep fighting and my heart will keep beating.
Maybe one day, the world will open its eyes and see beyond my neglected appearance. Maybe one day, I'll find peace instead of the storm that lives inside me. Until then, I will keep fighting, resisting and searching for a reason to believe that life can be more than prejudice and words of denial.
