Amaka and Ada were childhood friends. They grew up together in the same village, sharing everything from clothing and food to secrets. Amaka trusted Ada like a sister. Ada would smile and laugh with her, but deep down, she wasn’t a good person.
One day, Amaka introduced a business idea to Ada. She was waiting to launch selling fabric at the market. Ada acted deceptively happy for herself, but she was envious. A week, Amaka found out that Ada has adopted her idea and started selling the same fabrics as well as copied her designs. Amaka confronted her, but Ada laughed and said, "This is just business. Stop being a child.”
Amaka that day understood that not all smiling is friendship, not all smiles are love.
