Tres golpes lentos y pesados.
Daniel se quedó paralizado. No esperaba visitas.

Daniel received a letter with no return address. It was a short note: "Do not leave the house today."
Confused, he dismissed the warning. It had to be a joke. Ignoring it, he went about his day as usual, stepping out to buy a few things at the store.
On his way back, he stopped abruptly. Just a few steps from his house, a terrible accident had occurred. A car had crashed violently into a streetlight at the very corner of his home. Curious onlookers gathered, whispering among themselves. The paramedics were already there, but their expressions confirmed the worst—the driver had not survived.
Daniel’s breath caught in his throat as he approached the wreckage. His heart pounded harder with each step. When he glanced at the shattered window of the car, his blood ran cold. Reflected in the broken glass was his own face.
Panic surged through him, and he ran back to his house. His hands trembled as he unlocked the door and rushed inside. His chest heaved as he tried to catch his breath, but his relief was short-lived.
Sitting on his table was another letter. It hadn’t been there before.
With shaking fingers, he picked it up and unfolded it. The message was short, just like before:
"I warned you."
A chill crawled up his spine. Was he supposed to be dead? Had he somehow escaped fate?
Suddenly, a knock echoed through the silent house. Slow. Deliberate. Three times.
Daniel turned toward the door, hesitating. He wasn’t expecting anyone. As he stepped closer, his own reflection in the hallway mirror flickered—just for a second.
The knock came again.
But this time, it was coming from inside the house.
