WHAT I SEE
What I see concerning the picture is an old fashioned car, some of it's tires are missing, it's having two different plate numbers that is of the same date '1923'. The car is surrounded by a group of people.
WHAT I FEEL
What i feel is that the car is an ancient spoilt car but preserved for remembrance and those people are there to see the car.
A STORY ABOUT THIS ANCIENT PICTURE
In the cold Winter of the night in Washington DC, after a hot tea dinner, Alex Albert a Nigerian who grew up in America narrated an ancient story of his life to his children.
This was a picture we took in the 1990's. I can vividly remember how my father Albert took me to a museum that was as big as an Airport, having a mighty building. We went round the Museum to feed our eyes with wonders that were in stories. To my greatest surprise we saw a spoilt car that is preserved, it was the first car that was used for a crime in the United States. Happiness filled my heart as i will be the first in my class to tell the story. We were 15 in number that came to see the old spoilt car, luckily for us, a photographer was there to capture us. Everyone quickly positioned except for four old men who were distracted by another event. My father positioned well with his Papa's hat which made him different from other men, the other men were putting on a bicycle 🚲 face cap. There was a young man who sat in the spoilt car, he posed in the car but unfortunately, as you can see he isn't appearing visible in the photo.
That day I ensured that I am seen in the photo, i tried standing close to my father who was standing at the left, but i noticed that i wouldn't be captured, so I had to turn to the other side behind a man who stood close to a younger man in front of me and behind were two young boys.
Alex who was deep in memories of the ancient picture never knew that three of his children had fallen asleep except his first son who was so eager to know more about his Father's life history. He had to quickly release them to go to bed.
History can never be erased.
It's important for us to value their memories, cherish and preserve it.
Well done 👍
