This story is based on the picture prompt of the "A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words".
Maria used to eat a lot. For some weird medical reason she could not control her eating habits. And this has turned out to be a problem for the family. They can't stop her eating habit. She literally started eating everything. When there was nothing to eat she used to eat the dirt. And that made her mother contact a witch. She explained her case and asked her to get rid of her excessive habit.
Witch asked her to tied her to one of the chair in her house. And make sure she drinks the potion that she made. Only condition was she was not supposed to eat anything for 12 hours. No water, nothing to eat. So her mother even put on amask over her face and locked her to the chair.
After 9 hours of staying silent Maria was making murmuring sounds so her mother decided to let her speak a bit but at the same time maria bit her and tried to eat her flesh. And then Witch's condition of spell broke, Maria turned into a pig. Maria's mother cried and asked witch to reverse this.
"I can't turn this back now, she made a choice to become a glutton"
Wow...Maria's mother must have devastated with how her daughter turned out.

The harsh remedy felt extreme, but parents resort to desperate acts to help their children the best way they know how. I have heard of an eating disorder such as this that is not fault of the person, but a gene deficiency that can't be cured, only controlled. Consulting a witch in this case was problematic, I feel, in that you never know the result in this hit or miss remedy.
Unfortunately, Maria and her family will now know her as a true glutton. Thanks for sharing this story. Take care.
