This is the post based on the picture prompt of the "A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words".
Brad's grandpa had this photo where the car was broken down. And people were taking picture around. So he was curious to ask the question, how come this situation arrived? So brad was told that the grandpa was going home from the work and suddenly a heavy load car in speed crashed. At that time it was not easy to control those big heavy cars that carry woods and loads.
It was rare to see the cars broken down like this and losing the tyres and the frontal damage often make people think of such events like some festival. They come up and take photos as if they witnessed something new in the century. In a way it was and thats it about such times those days. Brad's grandpa remember those times were heavy.
It was a time when having a car was rare. The front doesn't look great and how small those tires look although no one drove fast.
Till today people enjoy making photos of other's their misery.
Thanks for joining. 👍
So people were crazy from the old times!
Oh, a shifting load on a turn ... that can still happen to weaker cars and trucks today. However, what made this amazing was the last four words: "Those times were heavy." One feels the history there!
Nice story... The vehicle does days are constantly improved because is new to the community.
Oh yeah! We could call it the good old days for grandpa right😄
Car crashes before cars became popular are fascinating to many people.
Memories of the past when our parents and grandparents were lucky enough to own vehicles. They were indeed a spectacle to watch as not everyone could afford them. I can imagine when an accident occurred, many were curious to find out how it could happen. Or, if a part broke down, they wanted to witness it in case they saw it again and could discuss the details.
Fascinating times back then whenever any new technology arrives on the scene. I'm from the older generation. When I think of the electric cars and driverless vehicles being marketed, both I'm not ready to embrace.
Thanks for sharing. Take care.
