Every night I embrace your portrait,
and silently whisper your name,
the stars look at me, accomplices of the cry,
of a love that persists, that never hides.
In my dreams you are always there,
like a soft echo in my heart,
your laughter and glances dance in peace,
I miss you, my sweet song.
Your portrait accompanies me in the half-light,
like a bright beacon in seas of longing,
it dispels my pain, though time dazzles,
and in its tender embrace, I find hope.
