Acid bath. Acid bath. Acid bath. Acid washed jeans. That's a thing. Acid bath. That's not a thing. Is that a thing? Does that refer to rain that's been contaminated? Acid bath? Is that a weapon. There are lots of weapons that are horrible and have euphamistic names. Euphamistic is not a word? Or am I spelling it wrong? Euphamism. Euphemism. Euphemistic. There we go. Acid bath. Don't bathe in acid. Bad idea. Very poisonous. Spelled that right. I need to do some things this week and so far I haven't done these things:
Submit a grant app
Submit a booth app
Comment on my cohorts' poems
Write something for that class
Read something for that class
Read things for other classes
Work on that academic lineage project, like really do that because that's got a soonish deadline
Respond to people, do the things, read the things, be engaged, do more with the plants, vacuum, try to get rid of stuff, get rid of lots of stuff, can I get rid of stuff? I want to own less stuff. Less and less stuff. Organize stuff. Get rid of stuff. Be brutal and get rid of stuff. Organize stuff. I can do that. I can get rid of stuff. Do it. Do it. But also do all the other things. And rest. And read for pleasure. And be engaged. Don't look away. Stay angry. But to a healthy degree. Oh and check that PO Box.
