Ah, my dear, I know it wasn't intentional, your turning into a dog. I wish I had known what to give you before it happened. Now I know. I'll pet you, I'll play with you in the snow, I'll go on walks with you, I'll play catch with you, I'll take wonderful care of you, and I'll relish in the love you give me, in the cuddles. I guess we could have had that. But maybe the human expectations never would have allowed it. Why do we have so many expectations of what it means to be human, to be in society? I wish I had known how to drop them, how important it was to drop them, before being forced to, by this. Maybe magic is real. That must be what this means, right? So maybe, eventually, you will turn back, and we both will do better.
