A Mediterranean cruise with mom

Olivia's husband died young, and she raised her son well despite the family's struggles.

Richard always wanted to grow up and do something for his mom. He got a job, saved his salary, and planned a Mediterranean cruise with his mom.

"Mom, would you like to go on a Mediterranean cruise with me this vacation? I've made the reservations."

"Son, it's going to cost a lot of money, you should be saving for your wedding."

"No, Mom, they say cruises are a mother's dream, and I've always wanted to take one with you."

Olivia was proud of her son Richard and moved by his son's heart.

The itinerary included visits to Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa, Naples, Messina, and Motta.

When Olivia and Richard arrived at the cruise port and saw the huge cruise ship, they realized they were traveling.

They showed their passports and reservations and boarded the ship. They were kind enough to carry their luggage to their room.

We boarded the cruise ship and it was huge inside. There was an elevator inside the cruise ship.
Olivia and Richard made us feel like we were in a hotel, not a ship.

The room was clean and more than adequate for the duration of the voyage.
They were cleaned every day. Richard left 2 euros with a note as a thank you.

Richard had booked an ocean view room with a window when he booked. The view from the window was fantastic.

"Mom, look at this. The ocean view is amazing."

Most meals were complimentary. Breakfast on the cruise was a favorite with a window overlooking the ocean.

We stopped in cities along the way, and Olivia and Richard saw beautiful sights and ate delicious food.

There is a pool on the roof of the cruise ship. There were so many things to do on the cruise that there was no time to get bored.

There is a large pool, bowling alley, theater, casino, shopping center, grocery store, and more to keep you busy.

Olivia and Richard enjoyed watching popular singers perform at the theater in the evenings.

It was relaxing to explore the beautiful Mediterranean cities of southern Europe.

"Thank you, my son." Olivia was happy to be traveling with her son, feeling rewarded for raising him without her husband.

Thank you for your feedback.
Have a nice day. 😀

What a beautiful and generous thing to do for his mother. Your story reminds me of the Bible verse, "Raise up a child in the way he should go..." I know Olivia was proud of her son as an adult and was grateful he took the time to think of her and the sacrifice and struggles she overcame to raise him with his father being deceased. A difficult and rewarding undertaking. Both will never forget their time spent together on the cruise.

Thanks for sharing this lovely story. An enjoyable read. Take care.

A walk with the family is never a bad thing, it is well deserved, even if some of them are no longer with us.

It's good to have a sweet son, one with a good memory and heart.
