5 Minutes Only

5 Minutes is asked to freewrite, 5 minutes but 10 is more realistic but if it comes to writing it's closer to 20 minutes. Next to that the main problem is adding a picture. Slow is my phone, slow is the wifi I use (the later the worse and I better don't use it if the children are back home) and perhaps even I am getting slower (the older the crazier or the older the slower?).
I don't care if I am slow, getting slower, since I noticed it feels more relaxed although in my head it's still super busy, thoughts, thoughts and more thoughts, ideas I like to work out but I simply lack the time.
Later, I promise myself, later if I am old and dead I can rest in my grave. It's something my grandmother would say but she should have rested and enjoyed her life way earlier than she did.

P.s. I checked the time.. a post of 5 minutes writing takes me 30 minutes...

Indeed.. writing a reasonable story takes way more time than 5 minutes.

Getting slow isn't necessarily a bad thing. Although what I've noticed is that the world is getting faster and it's just crazy 😭

I hate slow WiFi network too...

@mariannewest said there are no rules on the time, I used to try to keep it under 5 but that is not realistic.

I think the 5 minutes is more of an excuse to just start writing. The truth is that we all have our own times, for example I feel like a tortoise that gets stuck after the first page. Maybe we all need, even if it's just those first few minutes, to find a story or something to tell and dedicate your time to it, I think in the end it's more of a personal decision, don't put limits on yourself.
