Yesterday, at 5 o'clock in the morning, I woke up to the sound of an explosion outside my window. Through the dream, I continued to believe to the last that it was just someone setting off fireworks. But this sound was not typical.
Then there was another ray of bright light and another explosion, which made my windows shake. A few minutes later, my mother, who lives in another part of the country, started calling me. She told me in a panic that a full-scale war had begun. That russia has invaded the territory of my country. Insidiously and from all directions.
Can you imagine that? Being a thousand kilometres away from me, she started calling at 5 am worrying about my life! And so yesterday the whole country woke up. With these sounds. With the sounds of explosions. Many started panic attacks, many children woke up and cried, many woke up animals and began to hide near their owners.
Someone immediately ran to the basement. Someone hid in the bathroom. Someone immediately started calling friends and asking where to go to protect their country. Let me remind you that russia has insidiously invaded the territory of my country. The bombing of peaceful cities began when people slept peacefully in their beds. When people had plans for a new day. But all this was destroyed in an instant!

And all this happened in the 21st century. IN THE CENTER OF EUROPE!
And now I appeal to everyone who reads this post and is shocked by this situation. I will explain what you can do for peace. Remember that today the war has affected Ukraine, and tomorrow it may come to your homes! putin and russia will not stop exclusively at our country, because it is the hitler of the 21st century!
There is only Ukraine between Europe and Russia, which has been restraining aggression on their part for 8 years! If there is no us, then there will be no you!

Do not believe the propaganda from russia that Ukraine allegedly attacked them. Because this is not true. My prayers are with you and my heart bleeds watching the situation. I cannot even imagine the fear that people of Ukraine must be feeling now. I'm from Slovakia and I remember the actions of the former regime but I still cannot believe or comprehend how far Putin is willing to go now.

I seen that there was a huge amount of night vision and thermal scopes as well as binoculars that were approved for export to Ukraine and I'm very heartened hearing that Germany is finally sent armaments to Ukraine.
Absolutely it wouldn't be a difficult thing for NATO to Grant a no-fly zone over the entirety of the country as well as be able to monitor that.
I'm following this situation closely and I send strength and support to all those people who are fighting for their freedom and sovereignty.
I am hearing reports of common people over running clueless soldiers that run out of gas and can't understand where they're at.
The lessons of Afghanistan as well as an armed population cannot be conquered are going to be underscored in this conflict.
Even left wing media is supporting Ukrainian citizens being armed by the government freely.
A rifle behind every blade of grass, you cannot conquer such people. It truly would be madness. A single shot brings out one man falls over. United States forces discovered this in Iraq and Afghanistan. This was perfected in the resolutionary war.
May the Ukrainian people have the strength to survive this onslaught. And I have a feeling that this lightning war will actually be just capture some key objectives then retreat. Apparently United States funded biological weapons research laboratories predominate the key areas taken.

It is too risky for NATO to get involved into this. Not to say that Ukraine is not a NATO member, but it could lead to a World War III. I have seen news about the President of Ukraine suggesting he will have an exchange with Putin and negociating over the situation. I guess things should evolve from there.

its easy to start a 'little victorious war', yeah. and hard to stop, but easy to loose very much else. I'd like by heart Russia to get rid of Putin, and become free, and people would live a much happier life. but it not gonna happen. I pray the WW3 will not happen.
Yes, we have to avoid more conflict and we don't need to start a bigger war, we have to see things strategically and in the long run. I guess it is understandable that Ukrainian people are in such a desperate condition and just can't see too many alternatives. Putin has a long tradition in Russia and I guess he will still have...I see his points in this conflict but I think you can't control everything and you also have to give freedom to your nation...as for the USA, there's another complicated story...in my opinion.
