so verbose! may I skip reading this?
I had doubts about the post as community moderator,
and politely stated a question. is that ok? no hate detected?
I did not mute the x-post, neither banned the user.
still everything ok?
searched thru the post more carefully, and came to the conclusion
that it does not correspond to the theme of the community:
it is more about bees than about mushrooms.
feel free to have your own opinion on this, I don't mind.
and let's do without personal attacks on the moderator
all this 'you are hater!!!!' etc stuff - oki? all the best.
If you are a fungi lover, you would read the post since, while I reacted harshly in response to how everyone responded initially by bashing how it was not as relevant, I put in an whole article of info in my comments regarding fungi & also took the time to educate anyone interested in the subject of fungi a lesson about a dimension of their existence that probably is mostly ignored or unknown by most people. With all of the technicalities associated with it.
The initial response was very policing, which gets at me. Also a lot of false information was given to her in regards to fungi on your own part with very flawed analogies that do not reflect the reality of the science behind fungi at all.
I apologize for my harsh tone, but the initial responses really got under my skin, since I really do not enjoy people claiming to know better when the knowledge they use to backup their claims is actually utterly wrong, flawed & has the sound of being slightly condescending.
read a post instead of "searching" through it.@qwerrie if you call yourself a moderator, please have the decency to actually
All your questions from the start proved that in your 'Art' of Conversation, you actually "skip" everything that does not fit your ideas and image, and don't listen to what another one is sharing, at all.
You wanted academic details, well @ravenking13 served you and took the time to educate you on that matter, with relevant links if you were really intrigued.
Have a good day yourself
Also I did not say anyone was a hater, I just said hateful & challenged the claim of those who responded on whether they were actually fungi lovers.
Fungi interested maybe, lovers? doubtful.
Also the moderators of the community should be fungi lovers themselves, not being so fixated on how they did not get the treatment they feel their "authorities" deserved, ie, needing to be addressed any differently than I would have addressed anyone else who made those replies.
I wish you a pleasant day nonetheless, may we find humility in respecting each other as humans & equal, without needing to rely on our our titles of power.
