Their flavor is pretty mild, there was a recipe where you roast them in olive oil and spices with salt that seemed to bring out alot of their flavor. I'm not sure how it was done exactly as a 5 star chef made it.
Like the tire company? j/k I'll have to email that chef and ask him about that mushroom recipe it was amazing. But I wonder if I'll even find any this year womp.
How did you cook them?
We only had a few and since it was the first we had ever foraged, we really wanted the morel flavor. We just sauteed them with a little butter.
