Our adventure began at Los Angeles International Airport, where we boarded a Fiji Airways flight to Nadi, the heart of Fiji. Arriving early in the morning, our first stop was the iconic Nadi Market. The market buzzed with life, offering fresh local produce and friendly exchanges filled with smiles and warm "bulas!" This vibrant introduction to Fijian culture set a delightful tone for our trip.
Next, we ventured to the famed Sleeping Giant Garden, nestled at the base of a mountain that resembles a resting figure. The garden features over 2,000 types of orchids in a shaded sanctuary, creating a beautiful backdrop for relaxation and discovery. After taking in the flora, we enjoyed refreshing tropical juices prepared by the local Fijians, providing a perfect refreshment after a warm day.
