It turns out the best form of exercise for overall health is zone 2 cardio. This is cardio that is hard enough to get you winded but not to hard that you cant talk through it. The 80's girls had it right ! 2 hrs a week is a good target !

Wow, how interesting. Nowadays I see activities so demanding that I thought that these types of exercises no longer contributed as much. Even today's Zumba is quite strong and demanding.
It is true when it comes to performance in athletes we have come a long way with training practices based on research. We are also seeing many regular people built like athletes as a result!
