That's why I say hey man nice shot

If you were thinking today was a great day to watch someone kill themselves on live stream, you've come to the right place! A very depressed pleb lost his last $500 on the final rugpull before rugpulling his own existence. Truly I am reminded of the Ogrish.com days of the Internet.

I suggest you don't click play on these videos because it really is quite upsetting.

Well that's like the worst thing ever!

But I do find how others are reporting on this interesting. First off... memecoins and scams are not the problem. The same as drugs are not the problem even if drug addicts happen to exist. These people are unwell, and they aren't going to be healed by waving a magic wand that makes everyone stop being a greedy rugpulling asshole.

The reporting on this issue is done is extremely bad faith. First, some people are trying to blame it on a breakup. Leave it to an ecosystem full of incels who think the only thing standing between them and a supermodel wife is a big bag of money. Yeah you know who's fault this is? Probably a woman. Yeah! That's the problem. lol.

Suicide coin? REallY gUyS?

And others are saying it's disgusting how pump.fun IMMEDIATELY created memecoins of the event and tried to capitalize on his death. Yes, that totally would be disgusting for anyone who didn't watch the video. Those who watched the video can see that it was literally this kid's dying wish for memecoins to be made about it. Basically would have been rude to not make the memecoins... amirite?

Russian Roulette

Presumably one bullet was chambered into the revolver and he spun it before firing. The catch? He fired three times in rapid succession. Third time's a charm I suppose. The gun went off and that was the end of that. click click boom... again pretty upsetting to watch if I'm being honest. Do not recommend.

State the world unveiled

I hate to say it but I expect even more self-harm in the future as the world we live in continues to deteriorate under the legacy regime. The economy does not work for the people in this terrifying new era of humanity. Standard expenses and goals like owning a house and having a family are no longer attainable for a greater and greater portion of the population. Inevitably some are going to risk it all inside the shitcoin casino just for a chance to make it big. The sense of purpose has been lost. How do we find it again?

Conclusion

Well normally I would just drone on and on given the topic I'm covering but this one is far too depressing to continue. Rest in Peace degen friend. May you find your x1000 in the next life.

Sort:

Life is the most valuable currency, and no gamble is worth losing it. The world may be ruthless, but you're not alone... Stay strong, friends.

I am sooo sorry degen friend.

It took 13 years for bitcoin to finally become something.
A meme coin is like collecting bottle caps. They are not a path to financial freedom. If you want some of the meme, get yourself some.

Maybe we should make a wallet that if for just meme coins? So, you can show your collection off.

The gamblers life is not fun. But so is drugs, alcohol…

You, Mr @edicted have written about keeping your emotions out of trading (or at least keeping them in check) This guy got lost in a dream, which shaped his emotions. Thinking he could just hit the button one more time.

😢

I regret watching that.. threw away his life for what!? Crazy

Hm yes perhaps I should have forced link clicking rather than just putting it out there like this

No man you’re good. I’ve seen lots of sht, this was my use of free will😫

I'm not even going to click based on what you said.

smart some people couldn't help themselves and they were not happy

Guess he went to the dark side of the moon 😳

It's sad, but and the end of the day it all amounts to now forgotten concept of personal responsibility.

You can blame lax gun laws, poor economy, inadequate mental health treatments, crypto market sentiments, idiotic social media influencers, but ultimate decision to end a life belonged to a single person.

Those things happen all the time, but nobody here pays attention until involves crypto.

I refuse to watch the video, but this is just sad. Just truly hoping it doesn't create a trend; the way the world is going, can't say I would be surprised.

I’ll say when I lost my ass in 2022 to the UST/LUNA collapse a week before my 40th bday, there were some seriously dark thoughts. When you feel like an utter failure by losing just about everything and due to this one thing happening, you lose all your other businesses because the market tanks to oblivion, that just piles on top. But had to get into the mindset that I was only a failure of if I went that route and gave up on my family because of some bullshit digital money. Luckily I pulled through and still around, but not going to lie when I say I was curious what the barrel tasted like.

That's dark I've seen a few people on Hive get absolutely wrecked but wasn't sure how many got caught by the LUNA debacle. Of course best to not dwell on the past other than correcting future mistakes. I see grand things on the horizon.

Yeah, lost nearly a half a mill in that. Couldn't do anything but watch it melt away because my all LP was all staked up, Cosmos tokens staked up with my validator team, Hive was staked up, everything was staked up, lol. It all came crashing down. It was a nasty feeling. Then my alternator died the same week. But yeah, can't dwell on the past, but can't say stuff doesn't scare me, which is why I have been so slow on rebuilding any staked anything.

I probably wont watch it so i can sleep well tonight. You see just like you wrote, trading in some memecoin or becoming a drug addict isnt the problem the problem is the person involve in it. How can a person take its last $500 to invest in a memecoin or any coin at all thats a risky business and even in trading they give the rule to invest what you can loss and not what you cant handle but some greedy bastered do the opposite. And now his committing suicide men thats his mistake

How can a person take its last $500 to invest in a memecoin

Probably for the same reason similar stuff happened, still happens and will continue in places like Las Vegas, albeit without that much attention from social media.

"...the world we live in continues to deteriorate..."

I am confident this isn't the problem. The problem is false expectations, entitlement, and bad information and indoctrination. This is not the worst time in history to be alive. It's not that the world has become a paradise, because we obviously still have challenges to overcome, but if you drag a 1st Century Palestinian shepherd forward to today, they would absolutely be certain they'd been dragged into Paradise until they tried to buy a smoothie, or smth.

Things have been worse, is all I'm saying.

When suicide rates rise, it's not necessarily because life got harder, because generally it gets less hard over time and a little patience will be rewarded for folks in tough spots. But for folks that expect to follow the rules and get the rewards, the house, the pension, the deferential neighbors, losing their home to a corrupt scam from some squatter, or profiteering banksters at Citi, that can seem like the end of the world, their entire life's work gone, and no prospect of starting over from scratch.

Humility, as I will always maintain, is the only sound basis for reason, wisdom, or self esteem. Being reduced to $0 assets isn't good, but when you don't believe you deserve better, are entitled to better, and etc., it's just a starting point, not the end of the world.

Thanks!

Things have been worse, is all I'm saying.

It's never about things being worse; it's about volatility.
If you take a fish and try to put it in another body of water; it dies immediately.
The transition must be smooth rather than jarring.
It's the same reason why stock market bros throw themselves out of buildings when their bag crashes to zero.
It's not that their life is going to be harder than any other poor person.
It's about already being depressed and then losing all of what's left with no prospects to move forward.

There's a lot more to be said here like... misery loves company.
People suffer better psychologically when others are suffering with them.
Alienation can be a real killer.
But we are largely saying a lot of the same things here; lots of overlap.

The I've watch ogrish.com years ago and enjoying those beheadings. What kind of kid am I. For the x1000 to his next life maybe possible if the reincarnation is true or if the crypto market is available in next realm.

OMG this is so crazy!

Upsetting to hear and more and more guys are giving up. Doesn't make a lot of sense to me. If things got really bad I would just get enough money to fly to Hawaii or Bali and eat fruit off the trees and fish.

Annoying when the entire crypto space gets dragged because of Memecoins.

Sad he made that choice, just shows that many people are in the space for all the wrong reasons.

It is so sad to know someone killing himself because of this

thats full on

ive had dark thoughts from bad crypto experiences. its not fun. super sad to see this. i didnt click the video, just knowing this happened is sickening. thanks for sharing though, real shit.

Oh wow.. that is just sad. :( 😓😖

Ignorance and denial are the problem.
#1. If people understood how to truly be a strong version of themselves that is free - they wouldn't get hooked on short term and mostly empty gratification.
#2. If people understood that meme coins are literally always a form of scam - as confirmed by the guy who launched numerous of them and got caught up in the Havier Milei shitfest recently - then presumably they wouldn't participate.

If they participate having enough understanding of #1 and #2 then they would probably only be doing it for a reason that didn't cause them to feel terrible afterwards - such as comedy.

People are easily caught up in 'culture' and if the culture you are surrounded by contains zero of any real meaning or substance - you either escape or you will be vampired and destroyed eventually.

Interesting to read. I read about the sad news this morning on one crypto platform on WhatsApp and I was so distressed about hiw humanity has lost sympathy for their own fwllow who died out of frustration. We live in a world where people choose money over humanity.
