That is true although that is with their mega rocket which is not the Dragon.

I think this one is well tested and pretty reliable.

But yeah, with rocket launches, there is a lot of flammable stuff you are sitting on. That can go boom at anytime.

And its even worth when it goes boom live on air. I can only imagine the chaos. I know they probably tested as much as they can but there are just so many factors it has to account for.

It really seems like they do not care about blowing up unmanned rockets. The way they react it is like "well we got a lot of data from that".

I guess it is part of the learning curve and the way to learn how not to blow up rockets is to blow up a lot of rockets.

I guess NASA did a lot of the same thing in the early days too.
