When I joined again on November 2022, I bought 3000 Hive and powered up. I never powered down till now. I also bought and powered 15k LP. I encourage newbies to see Hive as a long term investment. That way, we can grow this place faster.
I basically powered up just to keep the people I like here by showing them they are appreciated. It definitely helped to raise my street cred at hive tho

One feature I will like to see on Thread will be a "Search for users" feature. This can enable anyone to quickly get across to another user by replying on their recent Thread to get their attention.

I think you can do that already. Check the search bar here on Threads. Type the username you want and you can find it.

The search bar is just above the trending tags. You can search accounts, tags, communities etc.
