I've been asked to do a talk about Hive at a virtual convention called @thenftopia . The crowd is mostly WAX people, but the project is very Hive friendly and several Hive projects tend to be there as well (you can even buy booths using HBD).
I'm considering two different angles/titles for the talk
"Hive as a decentralized database" with emphasis on Hive's ability to store text "for free", and exemplify with the various database building projects going on on INLEO, like leoglossary, musiconleo, leobooks, containers etc. OR;
"Threads as a way to reward engagement" with emphasis on the ability to reward attendees of livestreams and how this functionality easily can be tied into other streaming platforms.

Congratulations! I have no doubt that you will give an excellent presentation.
Regarding the topics in question, I confess that you made it very difficult for us to decide, as they are two topics that cover the Hive ecosystem well, but Threads I believe is more specific to InLeo.
But the fact that I talk about the advantages of having Threads as a tool for interaction and reward for the user, I believe it is something more interesting for outsiders to hear about it.
Both approaches are excellent. Pushing on the social media side should work out better because WAX does not have that among their ecosystem AFAIK. They should be familiar with most of the quirks of HIVE due to being a DPoS blockchain.
Direct them to a website that feature HIVE DAPPs so that they can explore more of our projects at their own pace. https://hiveprojects.io is a good one.

Both approaches are excellent. Pushing on the social media side should work out better because WAX does not have that among their ecosystem AFAIK. They should be familiar with most of the quirks of HIVE due to being a DPoS blockchain.

From a climbers perspective:
worst climbing movie ever.
No professional climber would do any of that what they did.
from a filmmakers perspective
most predictable script, worst acting, worst direction.
Camera work is nice though. I can remember struggeling through this movie, we stopped it several times and where arguing if we should watch on.
Imdb score shouldn't even reach 3.
