Good morning, people. Welcome to today's episode. I don't see a 'Bangladesh scenario' happening in Nigeria anytime soon. One of the reasons is that the government has become too powerful. They can do and undo as they please.
We had the chance to effect change in 2020, when the government killed peaceful protesters. But nothing happened. Now, I'm pretty sure that if we ever think of taking a stand like Bangladesh, they'd repeat the same actions.
Also, many Nigerians lack critical thinking. Imagine people collecting a #2000 bribe to support this government. Some people will never listen.
The most annoying part is that that man keeps giving silly public speeches. The last one, he addressed the issue of fuel subsidy. According to him, he has great plans for Nigeria and that bringing back fuel subsidy is not the next step.
Hunger has eaten up the brain of some people so they no longer think well. I agree with you, Bangladesh can't happen in this generation where unity is a long gone story.
Sir?? Did you say 'critical'? No o. Many people don't think at all. Because how do you take money for lunch only to go hungry for the remaining 364?
As for the government, I think we are only realising how deep a mess we're in. They have the mind to kill citizens on their own soil. And absolutely nothing was done about it! That's the craziest of the decade yet.
I don't see Bangladesh happening in Nigeria because we aren't united. The ongoing protest was supposed to be peaceful but some hoodlums were paid to hijack it leading to the crises, loss of lives and properties that we have experienced.
Moreover, our government would rather have its citizens killed than allow such to happen.
We are our own problem. Someone will always have money to pay to disrupt a peaceful protest and there will always be someone willing to collect the money. I pray Nigeria doesn't happen to us nor our loved ones
And I wouldn't blame them. The situation of the country won't allow them to do otherwise. I hope we will all be comfortable enough financially to say no to these things
It happens to every protest eventually. Powerful people or people with a different message insert their will into the movement by whatever means they can imagine. Strange or misleading behavior by police, fake protesters, a sudden push for a change in messaging, or provoking violence among a minority of the protestors.

I hope you can keep your sense of humour. Hive is tiny, but they still try to scare people off. That said, it is accepted that using 'AI' is not a good thing and if you do then it needs to be declared. We only earn at the whims of the community and some of them are picky. We don't want to end up with most of the content being machine-generated. It's clever technology, but it's what people think that matters.

I have told them that I am not a writer, I am a photographer and I do use AI to help me write my posts, but apparently they think I go to AI and tell them:" write me a post" and I am given a post with all the information I want to share! Don't don't understand that I feed all the information I want to be in the post to the AI and I just ask them to write it in a SEO optimised version so the blog looks better and gets more chances to get hits on google for example. They don't care at all about it. They don't accept that at all!.
Should people not use spell checkers to be more authentic? I'm afraid you have to put up with this stuff on Hive. Just be authentically you even if it's not perfect prose.
Like in real life!!!! The rich want to become richer and they don't want anyone else to get any money, They have found their way to be earning money, everyone else, they don't care and they don't want to risk other people to start have stakes to be able to go against them and their own rules! But when the rules are created by a couple of people and a lot of the community don't even agree is it really what the community wants. But that's the way the system works!
It's in nobody's interest to deter people from using Hive. The price won't go up if nobody uses it. The big players have most to lose. Just see how the price has dropped in the last few years.

Just gonna share a image of a traditional food where I live which is called "kroppkaka".
Made of potatoes, wheat and some meat and is usually served with liongonberry and cream :)

The cream substitute made of cashew might be not available everywhere. Instead you could use grinded cashews and real cream. That might even be the more tastier variant.
Pasta Linguine with Chanterelles in a Cashew Sauce
Put olive oil in a pan, throw in a handful of chopped onions and fresh garlic to taste, when the onions are translucent you can add the cleaned and chopped chanterelles and a cream substitute made from cashews that I recently discovered in the supermarket. Season with salt and pepper only. Celery stalks and spring onions also go very well with this if you have some to hand. Let it simmer for a while, shorter if you like it more liquid or longer and a little hotter if you want the liquid to reduce a little and become thicker and stronger. Cook the linguine until al dente, put everything on a plate, sprinkle with some freshly grated Parmesan cheese and parsley and enjoy. White wine or rosé goes well with it. As far as times and quantities are concerned, I usually cook "on the fly" (nach Schnauze) as the Berliner says.
Yeah, I understand, I like a variety of delicious foods too but if I were to choose one food to eat for a week, I would go for plantain which is my favourite food and it can be made into a variety of delicacies. #foodtalk

I know many of you won't talk or engage in none of this hivewatchers mess because you don't want to get targeted by them! And I completely understand.
But I feel that I will be talking a lot about it. I have spoke about it in the past. NOW I WON'T BE QUIET AT ALL.
Did they ask you about it? I don't like how they go on the attack. You have obviously been around Hive for ages. They can be reasoned with, but you may have to go on their discord to sort it out. We have to remember this is just people and they get a lot of abuse. They do some good work, but can falsely flag some content. I hope you can resolve this, but it will need calm words. I've seen too many people rage quit.
Of course not. This is the second time they do that to me. And they can't be reasoned with. The last time and this time I went to their discord and I am treated like I am an abuser and that I am here farming! I am called entitled because I have been here since the beginning and I am told that I should know better. This time I was told, "you can do whatever you want, you can bang your head against the walls, we have the stake, so we have the power" Basically I was told, that it is their way or no way. For a while now I feel they hurt more the community than they do good. As you said, I have been here since the beginning and I am such a huge farmer that right now my account Worth is $600!!!!! I have been here farming and scamming people with my content, look at all the money I keep getting in here. LOLOLOL
I hope you can keep your sense of humour. Hive is tiny, but they still try to scare people off. That said, it is accepted that using 'AI' is not a good thing and if you do then it needs to be declared. We only earn at the whims of the community and some of them are picky. We don't want to end up with most of the content being machine-generated. It's clever technology, but it's what people think that matters.

And whoever tried to simply create content, if it goes against their rules, that they disguise as "hive community guidelines" they will keep abusing, because they are the abusers!

The cream substitute made of cashew might be not available everywhere. Instead you could use grinded cashews and real cream. That might even be the more tastier variant.
Yeah, I intend blending cashew nuts and cooking cream for it. I'm imagining the taste and I think I can perceive the aroma already. Hahaha.

Pasta Linguine with Chanterelles in a Cashew Sauce
Put olive oil in a pan, throw in a handful of chopped onions and fresh garlic to taste, when the onions are translucent you can add the cleaned and chopped chanterelles and a cream substitute made from cashews that I recently discovered in the supermarket. Season with salt and pepper only. Celery stalks and spring onions also go very well with this if you have some to hand. Let it simmer for a while, shorter if you like it more liquid or longer and a little hotter if you want the liquid to reduce a little and become thicker and stronger. Cook the linguine until al dente, put everything on a plate, sprinkle with some freshly grated Parmesan cheese and parsley and enjoy. White wine or rosé goes well with it. As far as times and quantities are concerned, I usually cook "on the fly" (nach Schnauze) as the Berliner says.
