Now this sounds funny, I guess this slipped out from his thoughts, lol. Who would trust the government more than they trust themselves? Even children nowadays wouldn't accept this.
Saylor has been great for Bitcoin's adoption in certain areas, but I definitely don't agree with him on this one. Privacy is one of the hallmarks of Bitcoin's creation.
He is planning on turning Microstrategy into a Bitcoin bank, so I'm not surprised, from a marketing perspective, that he'd discourage this principle.
You can get paid in it if you work for the DAO (directly or through one of its organizations). You can also stake via CrowdNode and earn (you can do that in the wallet), or provide liquidity on the Maya Protocol.

I spent 41 years on the west (wet) side and couple years about 12 miles south of Adams. Been on the east (dry) side now for about 7 years in Oregon. Could be time for another change. 🙂
I'm lucky to have some great subject matter around me to photograph. I do wish I would have stayed more serious about photography over the years. It does bring me a lot of pleasure. 🙂
Yeah, lots of nature helps, mountains, etc... I don't live in true nature here, and not really urban enough too, for great pictures. But I shoot when I like! ;-)
With good morning, worlds
Warm greetings and I hope you have a great day today,
Today is my sunrise every Monday to start a new week of success where I give thanks, but I am also grateful for all that other people do for me.
You're off to a very strong start for the first day! There will be plenty more to discover over time. Keep up the great work and you'll find yourself integrating as smoothly as butter. #freecompliments

Yep. I think it is a great idea. Could put different sections in your threadcast each day. That would add a great deal to the content feeding into LeoAI. Plus then having people comment on the sections will help with context for the AI.
The game against the Giants in Munich is my last remaining hope for my Panthers this year. Between Carolina and Purdue, football has given me no joy this year. But Jesus does!
It would have been better for her to ignore them completely than to send that awful video. Then add the Michigan governor's video mocking communion and the hateful reaction of her crowd to 2 young men shouting "Jesus is Lord"
Something to remember, when you get angry at your fellow human beings...
"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."
Matthew Queen, a North Carolina pastor and former Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary evangelism professor and interim provost, who pleaded not guilty earlier this summer to one count of records falsification in connection with a U.S. Department of Justice investigation of the Southern Baptist Convention, has made an about turn and has now pleaded guilty to making a false statement.
Queen pleaded guilty as part of a plea agreement weeks before he was expected to go on trial in the U.S. Southern District of New York on Nov. 13, the Tennessean reported. The crime carries a maximum sentence of up to five years in prison, but the pastor’s attorney, Sam Schmidt, believes the judge will recommend a sentence of several months.

The 2024 Mets came through in the clutch a ton but needed a few more timely hits in Game 6 to extend their season. New York went 2-for-9 with runners in scoring position and left 13 on base in the 10-5 season-ending loss to the Dodgers in the NLCS.
Starling Marte flew out to right field with two on to end the first on the first pitch he saw. Brandon Nimmo popped out with two aboard to end the second. Jeff McNeil struck out with the bases loaded to end the third. Jesse Winker flew out with the bases loaded to end the sixth. Francisco Lindor struck out with a runner on to end the seventh. In the NLCS, the Mets left a total 56 runners on base (their 13 in Game 6 was a high in the six games played).
A key hit here or there, and maybe the Mets are playing Game 7 on Monday. But another problem the Mets had was pitching to a potent Dodger lineup that produced 46 runs scored in the series. Sean Manaea was shaky from the get-go, giving up three hits to the first four batters he faced, including a Tommy Edman two-run double that gave the Dodgers a 2-1 lead. It was the first lead change of the series, and it would be the last.
Manaea needed 64 pitches to get six outs and left after he walked Max Muncy in the third. He gave up five runs on six hits and grew emotional talking to reporters postgame.
“Just super proud of everything we accomplished. Everyone here. You know, nobody else I’d do it with. These boys grinded the whole year,” he said, choking up. “And you know, it’s sports, so it just is what it is.”
Manaea wasn’t the only Mets hurler who struggled in Game 6. Phil Maton gave up a home run to Will Smith, Ryne Stanek faced three batters without recording an out and Kodai Senga surrendered three runs in the eighth inning that put the game away for L.A.
The defender is embarking on his maiden European adventure with the Blues. He has started each of our three games in UEFA’s newest competition to date, and will be expecting to add to that tally when we meet Panathinaikos in Athens on Thursday evening.
There is still a long road to navigate to reach the final in Wroclaw in late May, but Disasi is acutely aware of Chelsea’s record in continental competition. He knows what is expected.
‘We haven’t properly discussed or set any objectives so far, but as Chelsea representatives, and just being Chelsea, actually, it’s about going all the way,’ he stated.
‘Chelsea is renowned for going all the way in European competitions. Also, we know that if we win it, we would be the first ever club to win the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League. That obviously drives us, and it’s clearly our ambition.
‘For a club like Chelsea, not playing European football last season was not normal. This season, we have the opportunity to shine on the European stage, and we’ll do everything we can to bring the club back where it belongs.’
Disasi has plenty of European experience to his name, having featured in Champions League qualifiers and reached the knockouts in two Europa League campaigns with Monaco.
He is very happy to be back on the European stage, which offers him the opportunity to discover new venues and countries, as well as sample different atmospheres. He can expect a lively one in the Greek capital on Thursday, with a huge sell-out crowd expected at the Olympic Stadium.
The Blues are looking to build on our matchday one victory against Gent, in which captain Disasi provided a superb assist for Pedro Neto just after the interval. He clipped a ball over the Buffalos’ backline which the Portuguese latched on to before blasting home, and immediately turning to celebrate with Disasi.
The Mets' clubhouse was full of emotion after New York's Game 6 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NLCS on Sunday night.
The hugs between teammates came after a valiant postseason run that ended two wins shy of the World Series. But emotions also ran high because the team has about a dozen pending free agents, making it almost a certainty the Mets won't return the same roster next season.
Their top starting pitchers will all enter free agency, as will first baseman Pete Alonso. His six-year run in New York included 226 regular-season home runs -- third in franchise history -- as well as several clutch long balls this postseason that only enhanced his popularity with Mets fans.
Alonso fought back his emotions in discussing the team while being asked about his future.
"I'm really proud of what I was able to accomplish here," Alonso said after the 10-5 loss. "I laid it out there every day. I played my heart out every day ... I'm just thinking of the group. We'll cross that [free agent] bridge when we get there. I love this team. I love New York. I love playing in Queens. This group is really special."
Surpreendente a mexida? Sim. Eficaz?
Raicca Ventura, do Brasil, ganhou 80,00 e completou o pódio.
Matías Dell Olio leva o título do street masculino
WNBA players have opted out of their current collective bargaining agreement and face the prospect of a work stoppage if they don't negotiate a new deal with the league by the end of the 2025 season, according to ESPN's Chiney Ogwumike.
Citing union sources, Ogwumike said the union's executive committee and board of player representatives voted Monday to opt out.
Players had until Nov. 1 to opt out of the current deal, which was set to expire in 2027 and will still be in effect next season. The two sides have a year to come to an agreement.

After New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers ruptured his Achilles in the 2023 season opener, he underwent a SpeedBridge repair that allowed him to return to practice 11 weeks later. By the spring, Rodgers was cleared to practice with no restrictions.
Michigan is not yet naming a starting quarterback ahead of its rivalry game against Michigan State, as coach Sherrone Moore said a decision will be made depending on how practices go this week.
Jack Tuttle, who replaced Alex Orji in an Oct. 5 loss to Washington, on Saturday became the third quarterback to start for the Wolverines (4-3, 2-2 Big Ten) this season. Tuttle struggled with his accuracy early but finished with 209 passing yards -- a season-high total for U-M quarterbacks -- in a 21-7 loss to Illinois.
Michigan failed to score 10 points for the first time in 131 consecutive games, dating to a shutout loss against Notre Dame in 2014.
The Wolverines opened the season with Davis Warren, a former walk-on, at quarterback, but he was replaced by Orji following a three-interception performance against Arkansas State.
Murphy, 24, averaged 14.8 points and 4.9 rebounds per game primarily in a reserve role last season.
The 6-foot-8 Murphy has established himself as an outstanding 3-and-D wing. He is a 39.2% career 3-point shooter, including 38.0% on 7.8 attempts per game last season. According to ESPN Research, Murphy and teammate CJ McCollum are the only players in franchise history to make at least 150 3s in multiple seasons.
Opponents shot only 42.2% from the floor when Murphy was the closest defender last season. That was the fifth-lowest percentage among 201 players who were the closest defender on at least 500 shots, according to Second Spectrum data.
Murphy is likely to miss the start of the regular season due to a right hamstring strain. New Orleans opens at home Wednesday against the Chicago Bulls.
When Nestor Cortes was placed on the injured list on Sept. 25, the New York Yankees weren't optimistic about his chances of pitching again in 2024. Elbow flexor strains often lead to significant elbow injuries. Even if this one did not, the Yankees would have to make a deep postseason run for his return to even be a consideration. Chances were slim.
But the Yankees have made that deep postseason run. And now Cortes will likely be on the Yankees' roster for Game 1 of the World Series on Friday -- exactly one month after he was put on the injured list.
"I think there's a good chance of it," Yankees manager Aaron Boone said in a call with reporters Monday.
Nearly 20 hours later, Brian Daboll’s decision didn’t change.
Daniel Jones will remain the Giants’ starter for their Week 8 game despite getting benched during the fourth quarter of their 28-3 loss to the Eagles, Daboll said during his press conference Monday.
Jones completed 14 of 21 passes for 99 yards on a day when the offense finished with just 119 total. But Daboll told Jones after the game that he’d remain Big Blue’s quarterback over Drew Lock, who replaced Jones and completed three passes for 6 yards.
Jones will continue to get all of the first-team reps in practice this week.
“I think he gives us the best chance, number one,” Daboll said. “I thought there were a lot of plays that he did exactly what he needed to do, and then look, there were some plays where it wasn’t just on Daniel. It was a collection of things. It wasn’t just one person, a protection or a route.”
Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Aidan O'Connell is expected to miss four to six weeks with a broken thumb on his right (throwing) hand, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Monday.
O'Connell, who was wearing a heavily wrapped splint on the thumb after Sunday's 20-15 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, will undergo more tests Monday.
The quarterback said Sunday he suffered a similar-feeling injury in middle school.
Raiders coach Antonio Pierce didn't have an update on O'Connell as of Monday afternoon. He said he wasn't sure whether the Raiders will add another quarterback as it depends on O'Connell's status.
“If it happens, it happens. If it doesn’t, go from there,” Martinez said about his presence on a 2025 roster, which will depend upon teams’ interest in the designated hitter who is invaluable around a clubhouse and has a history of hitting, but who tailed off this season.
“Our plan is to start him practicing on Wednesday, and the clearing doesn’t come until after some of the activity,” McDaniel said, per USA Today. “But we’re obviously doing so in the hope of everything going well so he can play Sunday, but that will be to be determined.”
The decision to put him or IR, and automatically sideline him for four weeks, was a safety measure to keep him from rushing back.
On a day when the San Francisco 49ers celebrated the return of one wide receiver, they lost another -- possibly for the season.
Brandon Aiyuk, who has led the Niners in most receiving categories in the past two seasons, suffered what the team fears is a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in Sunday's 28-18 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
At the start of the day, Aiyuk was the only healthy 49er among the team's top three wideouts. Jauan Jennings was ruled out Friday with a hip injury, while Deebo Samuel arrived at Levi's Stadium with an illness that was announced about 30 minutes before the game with the caveat that Samuel was expected to play.
The Los Angeles Chargers' Week 1 matchup with the Las Vegas Raiders marked a seminal moment in the relationship between quarterback Justin Herbert and coach Jim Harbaugh.
After the national anthem ended, Harbaugh pounded Herbert's shoulder pads with his palms. Herbert, unprepared, attempted to go for a hug, but Harbaugh continued the barrage of slaps and punches to Herbert's pads.
The pad-punching stems from Harbaugh's 14-year playing career, a tip he learned from Bears teammate and Hall of Fame running back Walter Payton to ease his nerves. Harbaugh has continued that ritual each game and Herbert's willingness to participate surprised some players.
"Justin has always hated cameras and things where he's the center of attention," left tackle Rashawn Slater said, "but I see him smiling when [Harbaugh] does it, so I'm like, that must be a sign that he really respects Coach."
One of the hallmarks of Harbaugh's coaching career has been his relationships with the quarterbacks he has coached. From Josh Johnson at the University of San Diego to Colin Kaepernick with the San Francisco 49ers, Harbaugh has helped elevate the quarterbacks of his teams. But his relationship with Herbert is different. Harbaugh has been enamored with the 26-year-old Herbert since he took the job, fascinated by Herbert's size, intelligence and even his clothes.
There were 15 seconds on the clock Sunday when the Minnesota Vikings, trailing by two points, took over for their final possession. They had the ball at their 30, and the way coach Kevin O'Connell figured it, they needed roughly two dozen yards and a stopped clock to give rookie kicker Will Reichard a chance to beat the Detroit Lions with a game-winning field goal.
Incredibly, the Vikings pulled off both on the ensuing play. Quarterback Sam Darnold found receiver Jalen Nailor for a 20-yard gain over the middle, and the rest of the offense got downfield quickly enough to spike the ball with one second remaining. But before O'Connell could summon Reichard, referee Clay Martin's crew flagged the Vikings for illegal formation. In their haste to preserve time, the Vikings did not get enough players set on the line of scrimmage.
The 5-yard penalty was the difference between a 68-yard field goal attempt (an NFL record that is genuinely within Reichard's range) and the desperate Hail Mary they ended up trying, which ended with a sack.
It was among a handful of plays that proved the difference between two NFL heavyweights in a spectacular mid-October game, a 31-29 Lions victory at U.S. Bank Stadium that dropped the Vikings to 5-1. If the game was confirmation that the Vikings are in fact one of the NFL's best teams, it was also a reminder of the tiny margin of error in such matchups.
"[Against] really good teams," O'Connell said, "you're not just going to steamroll through the game and have perfect plays on every play. But you better make sure it's [the opponents] that are causing, truly, some of those things that happen instead of some self-inflicted things."
The Golden State Warriors and forward Jonathan Kuminga will not reach a new deal before Monday's 6 p.m. ET deadline for rookie contract extensions, sources told ESPN.
The Warriors and Kuminga's representative, Aaron Turner of Verus Basketball, have been in discussions over the past several months but talks never gained traction.
Kuminga believes in his talent and ability to progress into a star in the league, and the Warriors have seen statistics that measure his growth similarly to the early years of the Clippers' Kawhi Leonard, Indiana's Pascal Siakam and Boston's Jaylen Brown.
The Warriors, however, prefer to view Kuminga's growth this coming season. The fit between Kuminga and coach Steve Kerr is also something Warriors officials are monitoring, sources said.
Despite not coming to an agreement, the Warriors still have Kuminga's rights in free agency next summer.
“I’m kinda hurt for those guys because to call them soft, they’re not soft, they were the best team in the league last year against the run,” Belichick said of his former team on “The Pat McAfee Show” on Monday. “Those guys went out there and did it even though we couldn’t score many points offensively. I feel bad for the defensive players on that one because that’s a tough group.”
The Patriots lost their sixth straight game Sunday against the Jaguars in London and Mayo took his team to task after the 32-16 setback to a terrible Jacksonville team.
Mayo clarified Monday that he did not believe his team is actually soft, but they have played that way.
Golden State Warriors guard Moses Moody has agreed to a three-year, $39 million rookie contract extension with the franchise, CEO of Klutch Sports, Rich Paul, told ESPN on Sunday night.
Warriors officials and Paul have been negotiating a new deal for Moody, who is in the final year of a rookie contract he signed after being drafted with the No. 14 pick in 2021.
Moody has developed into a key, reliable rotation player for Steve Kerr during this year's training camp and is expected to receive an enhanced role for the Warriors this upcoming campaign.
Last season, Moody averaged eight points in 17.5 minutes in 66 games played, setting career highs in scoring, playing time, rebounds, steals and blocks.
At the end of that season, Kerr said he wanted to see Moody become a more aggressive shooter, especially on catch-and-shoot shots. Moody averaged 15.5 points in 20 minutes through the preseason, including three starts. He shot 45.6% from the floor and 39.4% from 3 on 5.5 attempts.
Kerr has been vocal about how impressive Moody has been in training camp and throughout the preseason.
On October 21, 1959, on New York City’s Fifth Avenue, thousands of people line up outside a bizarrely shaped white concrete building that resembled a giant upside-down cupcake. It was opening day at the new Guggenheim Museum, home to one of the world’s top collections of modern art.
LOL. Yeah my uncle was coming buy for a while and grabbing our trash and doing that, but he kinda just stopped, lol. I hit up the apartments a lot of times, but we let things get out of hand, so a dump trip it was, lol.

🧵1/ A fun fact about Falun, Sweden, is that it was once home to one of the most productive copper mines in the world, called the Falun Mine (Falu Gruva).
🧵2/ This mine was so important that it contributed to Sweden becoming a major European power in the 17th century. It produced a significant portion of the world’s copper at the time.
🧵3/ Interestingly, the characteristic red paint used on many traditional Swedish wooden houses, known as Falu rödfärg, comes from the byproducts of the mining process.
🧵4/ This iconic paint has been used for centuries and remains a symbol of Swedish architecture to this day!
The mine itself is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

We don't think there's anything wrong with wanting to hold your own keys and not trusting institutions.
In fact, our entire purpose is to give you the maximum financial sovereignty possible.
Don't let people like Saylor convince you that you don't need freedom money.
Now this sounds funny, I guess this slipped out from his thoughts, lol. Who would trust the government more than they trust themselves? Even children nowadays wouldn't accept this.
He's trying to get people into custodians because he, himself, is a custodian.
Seriously?
Yes. Seriously.
Why am I surprised. I guess i should not be.
Saylor has been pushing Bitcoin in the opposite direction as Satoshi for years now.
I have stop speed reading, and start reading the meat of articles. :(
Saylor has been great for Bitcoin's adoption in certain areas, but I definitely don't agree with him on this one. Privacy is one of the hallmarks of Bitcoin's creation.
He is planning on turning Microstrategy into a Bitcoin bank, so I'm not surprised, from a marketing perspective, that he'd discourage this principle.
He's been great at pumping the coin, terrible for sovereignty. Take your pick.
He's still in the old paradigm way of thinking.
Yes, because he knows he can profit off of it.

You can get paid in it if you work for the DAO (directly or through one of its organizations). You can also stake via CrowdNode and earn (you can do that in the wallet), or provide liquidity on the Maya Protocol.

What is the best movie based upon a biblical story?
One Night with the King is based on the book of Esther and pretty good. John Rhyss-Davies is Mordecai.
I actually loved Risen. It was a from a few years ago. Not word for word biblically accurate. But the idea was there and was really well done.
TV Shows....The Chosen is pretty amazing stuff. Puts a 'real human touch' on the apostles and Jesus.
Never confuse John 3:16 with Austin 3:16 from the WWE.
They are not related from what I can see.
I had no idea what Auston 3:16 or even John 3:16 meant when Stone Cold was popular lol

Not even God could help the NY Giants against the Eagles.

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."
Ephesians 6:12
As we say in the South, "That'll preach!" America seems to need an exorcism more than an election.
lol amen!

Mets Fail to Conjure Game 6 Magic
The 2024 Mets came through in the clutch a ton but needed a few more timely hits in Game 6 to extend their season. New York went 2-for-9 with runners in scoring position and left 13 on base in the 10-5 season-ending loss to the Dodgers in the NLCS.
#newsonleo #sports #Mets #mlb
The opportunities came early and often.
Manager Carlos Mendoza said he knew “it was gonna be a battle” after Manaea’s early exit.
“But we kept fighting,” he said. “Guys came in and gave us a chance. Just came up short.”
any news about EPL and Chelsea?😂
Chelsea
Disasi: We have the chance to shine on the European stage
The defender is embarking on his maiden European adventure with the Blues. He has started each of our three games in UEFA’s newest competition to date, and will be expecting to add to that tally when we meet Panathinaikos in Athens on Thursday evening.
#newsonleo #sports #chelsea #epl

Emotional Mets face reality of free agency after NLCS defeat
The Mets' clubhouse was full of emotion after New York's Game 6 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NLCS on Sunday night.
The hugs between teammates came after a valiant postseason run that ended two wins shy of the World Series. But emotions also ran high because the team has about a dozen pending free agents, making it almost a certainty the Mets won't return the same roster next season.
#nymets #mlb #freeagency #sports
It will be good to have a cast overhaul.
I hope that next season there will be more players who are hungrier for victories.

Flamengo
Surpreendente a mexida? Sim. Eficaz? Muito.
#newsonleo #sports #flamengo

#newsonleo #sports #Skate
Sky Brown vence no park feminino
Raicca Ventura, do Brasil, ganhou 80,00 e completou o pódio.
Matías Dell Olio leva o título do street masculino
WNBA players opt out of CBA, face potential work stoppage
WNBA players have opted out of their current collective bargaining agreement and face the prospect of a work stoppage if they don't negotiate a new deal with the league by the end of the 2025 season, according to ESPN's Chiney Ogwumike.

Citing union sources, Ogwumike said the union's executive committee and board of player representatives voted Monday to opt out.
Players had until Nov. 1 to opt out of the current deal, which was set to expire in 2027 and will still be in effect next season. The two sides have a year to come to an agreement.

Michigan waiting to pick starting QB vs. Michigan State
Michigan is not yet naming a starting quarterback ahead of its rivalry game against Michigan State, as coach Sherrone Moore said a decision will be made depending on how practices go this week.

Sources: Trey Murphy, Pelicans agree to 4-year, $112M deal
New Orleans Pelicans guard Trey Murphy III has agreed to a four-year, $112 million rookie contract extension with the franchise, sources told ESPN.
The deal includes no incentives and no player option, sources said.
#nba #treymurphy #sports #contract
Nestor Cortes likely on Yankees roster after elbow injury
When Nestor Cortes was placed on the injured list on Sept. 25, the New York Yankees weren't optimistic about his chances of pitching again in 2024. Elbow flexor strains often lead to significant elbow injuries. Even if this one did not, the Yankees would have to make a deep postseason run for his return to even be a consideration. Chances were slim.
#worldseries #yankees #cortes #mlb #sports
But the Yankees have made that deep postseason run. And now Cortes will likely be on the Yankees' roster for Game 1 of the World Series on Friday -- exactly one month after he was put on the injured list.
"I think there's a good chance of it," Yankees manager Aaron Boone said in a call with reporters Monday.
Giants' Brian Daboll doubles down on Daniel Jones decision
Nearly 20 hours later, Brian Daboll’s decision didn’t change.
Daniel Jones will remain the Giants’ starter for their Week 8 game despite getting benched during the fourth quarter of their 28-3 loss to the Eagles, Daboll said during his press conference Monday.
#nfl #sports #nygiants #danieljones
Sources: Raiders QB Aidan O'Connell expected to miss 4-6 weeks

J.D. Martinez makes critical 2025 decision after disappointing end to Mets run
J.D. Martinez plans to play baseball in 2025 -- provided a team will have him.
In an emotional postgame clubhouse teeming with free agents with decisions to make, J.D. Martinez has at least made his first one.

The 37-year-old, free agent to-be wants to keep playing baseball.
Whether he keeps playing baseball, though, is yet to be determined.
“If it happens, it happens. If it doesn’t, go from there,” Martinez said about his presence on a 2025 roster, which will depend upon teams’ interest in the designated hitter who is invaluable around a clubhouse and has a history of hitting, but who tailed off this season.
Tua Tagovailoa returning as Dolphins' starter after scary concussion
Tua Tagovailoa is expected to make his return on Sunday for the Dolphins.
Coach Mike McDaniel said on Monday that the team is designating Tagovailoa to return from IR after missing the past four games with a concussion.

McDaniel said the intention was for Tagovailoa to play on Sunday, though the quarterback still has to pass concussion protocols.
According to ESPN. Tagovailoa has not had concussion symptoms for weeks.
49ers fear WR Brandon Aiyuk tore right ACL in loss to Chiefs
On a day when the San Francisco 49ers celebrated the return of one wide receiver, they lost another -- possibly for the season.
Brandon Aiyuk, who has led the Niners in most receiving categories in the past two seasons, suffered what the team fears is a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in Sunday's 28-18 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
#nfl #49ers #chiefs #sports #brandonaiyuk
If the further testing Aiyuk has coming in the next 24 hours confirms that diagnosis, Aiyuk will need surgery and miss the rest of the season.
"That's what it looks like, but we don't know for sure," coach Kyle Shanahan said. "Been wrong before. So, praying that we are."
Herbert-Harbaugh bromance off to a good start in Los Angeles
The Los Angeles Chargers' Week 1 matchup with the Las Vegas Raiders marked a seminal moment in the relationship between quarterback Justin Herbert and coach Jim Harbaugh.
After the national anthem ended, Harbaugh pounded Herbert's shoulder pads with his palms. Herbert, unprepared, attempted to go for a hug, but Harbaugh continued the barrage of slaps and punches to Herbert's pads.
#sports #chargers #harbaugh #justinherbert #nfl
'Self-inflicted things' cost Vikings their first loss of 2024
There were 15 seconds on the clock Sunday when the Minnesota Vikings, trailing by two points, took over for their final possession. They had the ball at their 30, and the way coach Kevin O'Connell figured it, they needed roughly two dozen yards and a stopped clock to give rookie kicker Will Reichard a chance to beat the Detroit Lions with a game-winning field goal.
#vikings #nfl #sports #lions
Sources: Warriors, Kuminga won't reach new deal ahead of deadline
The Golden State Warriors and forward Jonathan Kuminga will not reach a new deal before Monday's 6 p.m. ET deadline for rookie contract extensions, sources told ESPN.
The Warriors and Kuminga's representative, Aaron Turner of Verus Basketball, have been in discussions over the past several months but talks never gained traction.
#nba #sports #warriors #kuminga
Kuminga believes in his talent and ability to progress into a star in the league, and the Warriors have seen statistics that measure his growth similarly to the early years of the Clippers' Kawhi Leonard, Indiana's Pascal Siakam and Boston's Jaylen Brown.
The Warriors, however, prefer to view Kuminga's growth this coming season. The fit between Kuminga and coach Steve Kerr is also something Warriors officials are monitoring, sources said.
Despite not coming to an agreement, the Warriors still have Kuminga's rights in free agency next summer.

Bill Belichick fires back at Jerod Mayo after calling Patriots 'soft'
Hearing that label thrown on his former players stung the legendary coach.
Under Bill Belichick last year, the Patriots led the league in opponents’ yards per carry.
That stoutness still has Belichick calling the defensive unit “tough guys.”
#patriots #belichick #sports #nfl
That leakiness has Mayo labeling his team — and calling out the run defense — as “soft.”
Hearing that label thrown on his former players stung the legendary coach.

Warriors extend Moses Moody on 3-year, $39 million deal
Golden State Warriors guard Moses Moody has agreed to a three-year, $39 million rookie contract extension with the franchise, CEO of Klutch Sports, Rich Paul, told ESPN on Sunday night.
Warriors officials and Paul have been negotiating a new deal for Moody, who is in the final year of a rookie contract he signed after being drafted with the No. 14 pick in 2021.
#nba #sports #warriors #mosesmoody

Having to take your trash to the dump... LOL
It's a dirty job, but someone has to do it, lol
I hear ya it's those little things that people don't think about. Don't really want to be throwing stinky trash in your car 😂
Nope, lol. Luckily I have access to a trailer. But sometimes, I drive to town and take a bag or two to an apartment complex that has a compactor, lol.
I dump our stuff in my work's trash bins now lol It's awesome!
LOL. Yeah my uncle was coming buy for a while and grabbing our trash and doing that, but he kinda just stopped, lol. I hit up the apartments a lot of times, but we let things get out of hand, so a dump trip it was, lol.
our county has a transfer station we can use twice a week. but if we forget to go there, the garbage piles up quick lol

🧵1/ A fun fact about Falun, Sweden, is that it was once home to one of the most productive copper mines in the world, called the Falun Mine (Falu Gruva).
Haha seems like it can be a challenge to not be Premium ;)
Pro tip, save up and buy when you can. Then you have much more characters to play with
Have to look into that when I have some funds 😅 Or do you wanna sponsor?
🧵2/ This mine was so important that it contributed to Sweden becoming a major European power in the 17th century. It produced a significant portion of the world’s copper at the time.
🧵3/ Interestingly, the characteristic red paint used on many traditional Swedish wooden houses, known as Falu rödfärg, comes from the byproducts of the mining process.
🧵4/ This iconic paint has been used for centuries and remains a symbol of Swedish architecture to this day!
The mine itself is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Going to be a huge week for us
We've made a lot of progress on the Threads V2 rewrite:
Let's have a great monday 🦁
Gm @khaleelkazi!
Just a question. I got my first referral today and tried the onboarding process.
Isnt there a program to delegate some HP to new users? My friend @bannersandborder didnt recieve any so I delegated some.
No problem there really, but all maybe dont have a friend who can walk through and help by delegating some HP.
GM!
We have a dynamic Resource Credit Delegation Pool for newly onboarded users
There's no need to delegate HP because he's got the resources he needs already
If he becomes active, our dynamic pool reads his RC needs and dynamically adjusts how much we delegate to him
He should never run into RC issues. If he does, please let me know so I can take a look and make sure the pool is working correctly for him
🦁 Great work with the referral!
Well he had problems and we found out it was because of RC problem. Even now I think he memtioned it was at like 0.2% when he did his last thread.
Congratulations! So be it. Greetings.
GM Great Lion 🦁
that's great to hear. Please let the videos also respond well

Hmmm, not sure of what is happening on your side... can you hit ctrl - to see if it's a resolution issue?
Was a resolution issue. Thanks.
But that means do I have to run the page at 90% zoom?
Not all the time, just to find that button. The button is on the articles section at the top too... And we the feedback there will probably be a different fix for that soon 😁
That be great.. Thanks again.
And Keep Roaring. 🥂
Just tested and this worked for me:
Try scrolling, with the mouse wheel or touchpad, with the cursor placed over the icons on the left. It moves and shows the publish button.
It's not evident tho.
Let me check this one out. And close it.
Just tried doing that, But it isn't working. I think my system needs an upgrade. Otherwise the resolution issue shouldn't be happening in first place. 🥂
