Congrats to the winners! :)
So I managed to make it to month four of my savings challenge, but I am unsure if I'm going to have to cash out for cat food and rent this month. So what I am doing this week is taking a break (I just cashed out my liquid earnings rather than adding to savings), but I have not yet powered down said savings. I'm hoping that what I just cashed out will tide me over with cat food for a little longer and something will come up before I have to touch the savings account that allows me to continue. So this week it's on pause, which is better than powering down yet.
Pausing for a while is a great way to manage the challenge of cash flow (or lack of it) 😍. I've done the same, too, when no money has been coming in. I really fight not to break into any savings, but if I do have to, it's the smallest amount I can get away with - down to the penny! 😂 You're doing so well, it's great to see. I am really looking forward to the unboxing of the keyboard (can't believe I thought it was a computer keyboard, how daft am I)?
Any predictions for @susie-saver's final HP total for 31 December?
Hmm, I guess 1183 HP! :)
Hello @phoenixwren. Good to see you. Congratulations on making it to 4 months of savings challenge. You know taking a break or going in a different direction is sometimes needed. I stopped saving my Hive and switched to HBD. I also decided to power down a few thousands to utilize for off platform farm investing. It's paying off for me, so I think it's a wise decision.
In the Autumn Savings Challenge, I was thinking if the amount got too large for me any given week, then I'd just reduce the amount to even .5 or 1 HBD to save. It doesn't matter to me how much, but just save as much as I can.
Good luck over the holidays. Take care.
