What is interesting is that all of these constant changes make the long-term goal more important than the short-term, so hopefully people understand the opportunity and increasingly become owners, rather than renters. This goes for everything of course.

Sort:  

The more you own, the more you can rent. Maybe own a farmhouse, rent a flat in the city of your choice and rent out a flat in the city next to you. But I'm not sure how cool farmhouses are in Finnland, might be a lot of work due to your strong winters.

This is also what I do for my needed rentals - my ownership offsets it and covers the cost.

Very cool - they are everywhere and in demand - though not many want to work on the farm :)
