This sounds like an excellent time and place to teleport to; a time of prosperity and opportunity for those who take the time to get after it!

I will remain there. Coming back is detrimental. The hustle at this time is so bad, government with bad policy, crime is alarming, and other social vices are off the hook. I will choose to remain there despite low technological advancement.
I don't blame you mate, I'd go back even fit, like 50,000 years further. But that's just me.

Wow. You're taking me deeper into the time of highly tensed war in the Balkan nations, when the nationalist movement was still on top gear and kingdoms attacked kingdom for expansion of territory and economy.
Forty years ago is good and fitting for me.
