What an opportunity to try out what I had always wanted. Quickly, I will teleport to 1980 in Nigeria when our local currency was stronger than the American dollar and when you are a graduate, a job is readily waiting for you with an official Peugeot 504 car. Those tomes are rare now. A period where as an under graduate, you get food tickets for being a university student and in some institutions, you are entitled a whole chicken for the weekend.

This sounds like an excellent time and place to teleport to; a time of prosperity and opportunity for those who take the time to get after it!
A great choice indeed. Would choose to stay there though? Or would you teleport back.
I will remain there. Coming back is detrimental. The hustle at this time is so bad, government with bad policy, crime is alarming, and other social vices are off the hook. I will choose to remain there despite low technological advancement.
I don't blame you mate, I'd go back even fit, like 50,000 years further. But that's just me.

Wow. You're taking me deeper into the time of highly tensed war in the Balkan nations, when the nationalist movement was still on top gear and kingdoms attacked kingdom for expansion of territory and economy.
Forty years ago is good and fitting for me.
I love this idea of @mrenglish
This one is stronger. I also wished this as well to have back our previous glory for the naira.
These are some sound arguments to go back to the past. Countries getting to their actual state is a shame. The worst thing is that we don't have anything to do with the actual way things unfolded.
